Flyers score and Penguins already have two penalties and we aren't even three minutes in.

On the one hand, this series has been entertaining as hell, but on the other hand its horrible, horrible hockey compared to some of the other series. If I were the Flyers coach I'd put in Bobovsky just to see how he plays, because Bryz is horrible right now and I'd much rather have the chance to win 1-0 than to have to get eight goals just to win.

I swear I could stop more pucks than the goaltenders in this game, and that's coming from a guy who loses his balance when he puts on his watch.

Holy Jebus, cross checking Mary in the crease. What the fuck is going on in this game?

Now it is 9-3, and Pit is not done. You know they're looking to humiliate Philly now.

That game misconduct was quickly called. Think the refs are trying to get control of this game back?

Man, Vancouver is just baffling. They dominate the regular season, and are a bunch of cock gobblers in the playoffs. Every damned year. What the hell?

I'd rather have a midget stand in the net than any of those two cives for Philadelphia. I am glad Ottawa tied the series, and I hate the Sedin Twins, where's Raffi Torres with a cheap shot when you need it. Also I find it ironic that a piece of shit cheap shot artist of a hockey player has the name of one of the greatest children song writers in history.

Torres is suspended indefinitely.

I thought Philadelphia might go far into the playoffs, but whoever wins that series doesn't have the D or goaltending to make it very far. Both of those teams will get worked by Boston, Nashville, L.A, Vancouver, New York, Ottawa or St Louis.

Does this bother anyone? Doesn't bother me at all, but I can understand how it would make some uncomfortable in the locker room.

For less than a year, Philadelphia Flyers scout Patrick Burke, son of Leafs GM Brian Burke and brother of the late Brendan Burke, has been working with professional hockey players on the You Can Play Project, founded in Brendan’s memory and tasked to ensure equality, respect and safety for all athletes, without regard to sexual orientation. Yet he’s already convinced the hockey world will have its first openly gay professional player in the very near future.

One of the talk radio networks here in Saskatchewan was having a call-in discussion about this maybe three months ago, actually. First time I ever called in to one of those thigns. I think what they're trying to do is good but I've always been wary of these forced tolerance programs. I think tolerance happens on its own with time and trying to make it acceptable is just going to make people upset. It's stupid to try and make people be comfortable with this type of thing when there are a lot of guys who just don't want sex in the locker room at all. It's not the place for it and, personally, I don't think it matters whether someone is gay or straight. I don't give two shits. Whether or not they can play hockey or not is all I care about, and I'm willing to bet the majority of people think like that.

It's an interesting question, the locker room issue. If you're a gay man, is being in a locker room full of naked men like a feast for the eyes, or is it just part of your job, just like it is for every other hockey player?

I think it would be hard for me to function well in a locker room full of naked women, frankly. But I'm also a jerk, so, there it is.

The argument being made by the people in favour of it is that the whole "oh, he likes men and he's surrounded by naked men so he'd get a boner" thing is homophobic or something. I don't know. They say that it isn't as sexual as that and a gay man wouldn't think about that stuff when in a locker room because he would know that it'd be unwanted, but the problem is you can't say that will work like that all the time, and that seems to be the problem with most people.

And a women's hockey locker room? Meh, no thanks. They seem kind of lumpy on TV.

Fuck, four straight overtime playoff games for the Hawks. I can't take this shit.

Chicago really needs this one. It's imperative to tie the series before it shifts back to Phoenix.

EDIT: Or not. Just another OT loss. What a soft fucking goal.

Phoenix thrives on soft goals. It kind of sucks to watch on TV, though.

I can't say with certainty, but I'm pretty sure a large percentage of women hockey players are lesbians. Is it different because there is a lot of them?
