The odds are in Vancouver's favor (they are a good team), but my spirit and heart will be rooting for the B's to bring it back to Boston. If Thomas plays lights out they will win. Besides, all these goddamn Canadians in this thread rooting for them is alone enough for me to root for Boston.

It's good to see the Boston Bruins back in the Stanley Cup Finals.

They won when Bobby Orr was on the team right? The goal when he went flying in the air.

I will be rooting for the Canucks to take the Cup. It is sweet that Boston made it to the finals though.

I think the Canucks will take it in 6.

been a long time Bs fans, hopefully the wait is almost over.

Tip of the cap to Stamkos for coming back after that nose job he got in Game 7

Boston all the way....

Like Harvey Keitel said in Bad Liutenant (I paraphrase), "I looked Strawberry [TT] in the eyes today and I knew it wasn't over...they never could lose." lol..

I think Tim Thomas the magician/wall will play the greatest he has ever played in his entire life in the next 10 days. :hybrid: Boston will win because of his God blessed talllent. :hybrid:

I hear the Bruins made a deal with Miroslav Satan for their chance to make it into the cup.

I googled "United Cycle" and their site showed no results for those jerseys. Are they "store only"?

I do remember now though that the place we always ordered ours from was River City Sports (https://www.rivercitysports.com/US/index.cfm). We used to get their catalogue shipped to us all the time and the clearence always had pretty sweet Center Ice deals. They don't have nearly as many clearence authentics as they used to have.

What is that United place selling their jerseys for and are they authentic, semi- or replica?

The Whalers jerseys are authentic, but you can get any kind for most current teams. I'm not sure if you can order jerseys from United Cycle. I have always just walked in because I live close by.

Damn. If they are a good enough price I'd be willing to flight up there and buy a few hundred of them to sell online. I'm all about a buck. I suppose they're probably selling for more than I could profit off of though. Any idea what they're selling for U.S.?

There's a store in Saskatoon called Jersey City. I'm pretty sure I've seen authentic Whalers, Jets, Nordiques and (for some strange reason I haven't fully figured out yet) Seals jerseys.

Bob McKenzie tweeted:

"WPG lawyers signed off on their end. ATL lawyers doing their due diligence now. Soon as they sign off, deal is done, pending board approval.

If ATL lawyers sign off today, announcement tomorrow morning. If ATL lawyers don't sign off today, drags out another day or two."

that's 2 NHL franchises Atlanta has lost. they do not deserve another one.

I got Bruins in 6 for the Cup.

I think it's great news that Atlanta will be off to Winnipeg. I'd like to see Florida head to Quebec, and Carolina head to Seattle or Portland.

You're entirely right. Atlanta had two bites at the apple. Didn't work, let's not try again.

Seattle would be the better choice, I think. Bigger population base, and can you imagine the awesome rivalry that would develop with Vancouver? That would be the shit.

But you're wrong about the cup. It's going to be Vancouver in 6.

Cup back in Canada. :rubbel:

Oh, they're definitely not cheap. Authentic jerseys are probably well over $300 Canadian, and the Canadian dollar isn't too far off the American dollar right now (it's slightly stronger), so I'm going to safely assume that they'd be well over $300 American as well.

I got a pretty sweet deal because I bought it around Christmas time in '09 and I was buying my sister a jersey for Christmas and I wanted to buy myself a Team Canada jersey for the upcoming Olympics and they had a buy-two-get-one-free promotion going on at the time, so I was like, sweet, I'll just pick out something rad, and so I picked the Whalers jersey.
