At one point during last season , Niittymaki played a stretch of games and he was the number one , then Biron got back in net for a while.

I'm a bit worried about the Patrick Kane incident , he's on the cover of this year's nhl game by EA ... Are they going to delay the game to change the cover ? I hope not , I would be really pissed.
I dont think this will have any effect on the release of the game. The lawyers think this will settle out of court. Kane is lucky this driver was a shady guy. He apparently did not have a license to drive a taxi and some are saying he has a history of trying to rip people off (per Rob Ray)

I'm pretty angry about that move , I really like Arty and I wanted him to stay. I hope this is part of the steps in trying to get Alex Tanguay to sign with the Lightning ( buying out Prospal was the first one ) . If they end up not signing any top six forward then it will all have been a salary dump and nothing useful for the team.

I'm not worried about the habs , building a team up almost from scratch doesnt work . I know because tampa tried it last season and it was a disaster.
yeah, habs have no depth, little speed, they're small, and weak coaching. toronto looks better.

Kaberle for sure. After him, it doesn't really matter, it's pretty much hit or miss, but I would save Stafford, Stempniak, and one of the two Hawks, either Ladd or Bolland.

Only way I can get over this is if they use the money saved to sign Tanguay. Arty will be missed , he was really fun to watch. But I have to be realistic , he was a project that wasn't always what the team hoped he would be. He was supposed to become a better goal scorer than what he put up last season ( 6 goals ) .

Right now most of the rumors say that there are 3 teams still involved : The Lightning , The Wild and The Predators. I think it's a very easy choice ,why would Tanguay want to miss out on a chance to play with Vincent Lecavalier to go to the Wild or The preds ? He would be crazy to chose one of those two teams over Tampa.
