Being a huge 49ers fan, I'm wondering if our guys have enough to do during the offseason considering all the troubles. Dumbest thing to say at an airport: 'I've got a bomb'. Aldon Smith's lucky he's not going to Guantanamo. I hope the draft is better than our offseason!

Smith is not a good indicator of the health of your entire team that guy is proving to be just a bit of a whack job.

Schedule was released and the Raiders ended up with one of the toughest schedules. they had hoped to go to the play-offs i figure 5-7 wins is more likely

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
As a life-long Raiders fan, I think their best move would be to disband. Management has screwed up the draft, free agency, and holding onto good players. It was this century when they were last in the SB. Remarkable how quickly the organization went to shit.

I agree, they're not going to get that franchise back on its feet, the damage is done.

In two weeks time, every team will have started training camp. A few weeks after that, the preseason will be in full swing. Few weeks after that, real football is back. How glorious it will be.

I'm only watching Packer games. I refuse to watch the rest of the league until Manning retires. The Peyton ball sucking was insufferable last season.

I can't wait. About the only other sport I have a chance to watch this part of the year is golf, and I hate watching golf.

The Rams start training camp tomorrow. I can't wait to see how Greg Robinson, Aaron Donald, Lamarcus Joyner and Tre Mason look in preseason. No offense to RG3 but the Rams made out like bandits in that trade with the Redskins (I can still call them that, right?). Also can't wait to see how Sam Bradford and Kenny Britt look. If Bradford is fully healthy, Britt stays out of trouble and plays up to his potential and our OL is back to full strength (that means a healthy Jake Long), the Rams are a dark-horse for a wild card spot. Our D is going to be nasty with Gregg Williams calling the shots as the DC. I love what Fisher and Snead are doing for this team. Let's see how things pan out as the pre-season kicks in in the near future.

Is anyone else not hyped about the upcoming football season? I watched Skip Bayless go on about Josh Gordon's personal problems on ESPN this morning and I was like fuck this. I called comcast and cancelled my sports package. At least I'll be spared a season's worth of Johnny Manziel drama.

I still get Animal Planet so there's the Puppy Bowl.

If the Rams didn't play in the toughest division currently i'd like their play-off chances but the could be like the Cardinals last year 10-6 and sitting at home
they are building one hell of a nucleus of good young talent, they just need health from Bradford and some decent breaks to to do better than 10 wins

I'm sorry to hear that. A few weeks ago I saw a thread on Reddit that asked people what would make them stop watching. I don't know that I could stop at this point in my life. Knowing that there was football on and choosing not to watch just doesn't click with me.

I'm fooling myself. It's too ingrained in me, especially college football. I'm taking a month break from it but will put all the sports lineup back on once the college kickoff game comes around then the NFL season. And yes, I wanna see how Manziel performs. Is he the next Brett Favre or the next Tim Couch? I want to see him light it up, no thanks to Josh Gordon.

Currently watching the bios of HOF inductees. While I'm happy for the inductees, until Charles Haley goes in then the voting is a sham.

Animus I said the same thing 2 weeks ago. Packers only, fuck the rest of the league. I can't handle the 24/7 Manning jizzfest. The NFL has turned into a popularity contest and they've lost one more loyal supporter. Plus throw in another rule change in favor of the offenses and I'm done with this league. Fuck this shit.
