Another sweet comeback by my Eagles. Darren Sproles, man. That dude got some wheels for being over 30.

Speaking of wheels, I cringe when I watch Nick Foles run. It looks like he's in slow motion. He got caught from behind by a 350lb DT last night.

How much more deadly that read option could be.

BCT

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
Don't care how good that offense is, the NFL will never let Philly win the big one.

Fuck Kap, Harbaugh and his thugs.100penalty yards!!! Being a betting NFL fan I do not have any emotional ties to a team. But when Niners as a road fav cost me some $$$$$. Kap is an overpaid bum. Check out Wilson from the Seahawks. Not a tatoo kissing punk.

Hey the Detroit Lions beat Green Bay yesterday, 19-7. Finally the Lions might have found themselves a head coach in Jim Caldwell that could someday perhaps take them to the promise land. He has a calm measured approach to the game and from what I have seen so far is one who commands the respect of his players. I’m not saying the Lions are going to the Super Bowl this year or even next year for that matter but they are looking a lot more confident then in past years. The credit for this turn-a-round should go to Coach Caldwell. Maybe, just maybe this year they can post a playoff victory for a change.

Note: The Lions have won just one post season game since 1957, a 38-6 victory over Dallas in 1991.

Go Lions!!!

Interesting fact: I took a brief nap (translation: passed out drunk) before yesterday's Panthers-Steelers game and when I woke up to watch the game, it was 2010. Life sucks.

I was impressed by Detroit's defense yesterday, especially with a secondary that is as horrible as theirs is. Even they seemed to play alright. Detroit's run stopping is especially stout. Not that Green Bay has been a good running in in a long time, but still it was a good performance.

I would still be worried for them. The NFC north looks weak again this year, but out of all teams in the league Detroit has the greatest ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Way to pull it out Hawks in OT. Letting Peyton watch helplessly from the sideline.

That last drive by Denver aside, that Seattle defense is as stout as ever. They just swarm on the ball.

And Russell Wilson continues to impress the shit outta me.

A telling stat:

Against the NFL's elite QB's - Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees - Russell Wilson is now 7-0 with 14 TDs and just 1 Int.

Bears defense 100x better from last year and escape NJ 2-1.

Big game next week vs the Packers. With the Packers Ol looking bad, might see another dominate game by the D and a close 4-6 point win.

But 0-1 vs. Andrew Luck.

Wouldn't a better way of judging him be looking at what he does against the best defenses he faces considering all those players don't directly oppose him and don't have anything to do with 14/1 TD to INT ratio.

Also Wilson get a huge benefit from his own defense and running game. Unlike those other people he doesn't need to be as big of factor for his team to win and both he and the team know it. He's not a game manager or anything like that and is better than that, but he's also not elite. Those other people have to take more chances and do riskier things he doesn't because their teams rely on them more. It's just that they are good enough to have to come out right for them most of the time. In the future when he's not in the advantageous position he's in, and that time will probably come sooner than people realize the speed the NFL changes, and has to start slinging it around because his team is losing or he needs to win a shootout I bet the mistakes will come much more than they do now.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
If you're comparing QB win-loss record, Luck is 1-0 against Seattle and Wilson. So there's that. And I'd take Luck over Wilson (or any young QB really) all day, every day. The Deputy plays behind an awful offensive line, doesn't have a running game, and constantly faces pressure in the pocket. And he is still that damn good.

Remember when some people were debating about who would be better long term between Luck and RG III? Good times...

The Russell Wilson 7-0, 14TD 1Int against the NFL's elite QBs stat was more to point out how he's played in big games and on the big stage. He's not phased by it.

After Sunday's win, Wilson said he was kinda hoping the Broncos would score and tie it up so he and the offense could be put in the situation to drive down the field and win it.

And he also throws an amazing deep ball. Reminds me of Drew Brees and his rainbow passes that just drop right in there.

What I was most impressed with on his final drive was his ability to get out of the pocket and get first downs that way while running. It seemed like it happened about five or six times. It killed the Denver defense in overtime. I'm an a bit surprised Denver never adjusted to that the whole drive though. I don't know if he did that well or if they just didn't bother to contain him after getting gashed by it that many times.

If the Raiders don't clean house during the bye week then I don't know about this team.
