I love the Trestman hire by my Bears. I've heard nothing but good things about him and I believe he's the right pick for the Bears. He's a gifted offensive mind and has had success everywhere he's been, whether its working with Steve Young in SF or Gannon in Oakland.

No wonder Kelly left, I think he found out for sure that Oregon is about to be hit hard with NCAA sanctions. There are rumors that they can possibly have a bowl ban of up to 3 years plus loss of scholarships. Basically the death sentence. He fucked them hardcore, those coaches are fortunate that they can just up and leave like that. Looks like Oregon won't be competing for a long time.

I think getting fired might turn out to be a good thing for Lovie Smith. Chances are he will land at a decent position someplace else if he wants to even if it's not as a head coach. Chicago's defense is about to get really old and I wouldn't be surprised if it falls apart at any time now. While some offensive system changes might help, finally structuring the system to mitigate the offensive line's and Cutler's faults being the biggest needed, there is only far that can go while still having a very shallow and untalented receiving group and a perpetually bad offensive line.

Unless they do great in upcoming drafts or really get some good free agents I see the Bears declining for a while either now or in a year or so. This might have been the last time the Bears had to get it done before their window closes.

Fingers crossed for "Harbaugh-Bowl" however, knowing my luck, it will be Falcons and Pats. Reviled division rival vs. The Evil Empire and team who beat my Panthers in the Super Bowl once upon a time. I hope the commercials are good.

I'm also hoping to see the "Harbaugh-Bowl". Pretty sure Jim will be there.

Ive laid farts that stink better than the Falcons defense.

Props to the Niners. They earned it. Great organization. Matt Ryan chokes once again and no SB for Gonzo.

Congratulatons to the San Francisco 49ers :)

Atlanta ... what a town!

:D :elaugh: :D

The Falcons never win anything. The Flames leave Atlanta for Calgary. The Trashers leave for Winnipeg. When was the last time the Hawks won anything? I'm thinking around the time of Pete Maravich or Dominque Wilkins. The Braves, the team of the 1990s, all those NL pennants under Bobby Cox. Though they really never have won anything either. They've won only one World Series ... almost 20 years ago ... beating the Cleveland Indians in 1995.

Patriots down by a point, and now they get the ball back. Time to stuff them, because Fuck New England.
Down by 15 with 2:20 minutes left... Looks more and more like a "Harbaugh" Bowl. ;)

I have to go with Jim and the 49ers ... Jim is the ex-Indianapolis Colts QB :D

Joe Flacco -- what poise. A classy professional. He's really a good QB. He's MVP of this game... And Ray Lewis gets to suit up for another day. :)
