My god! The Seahawks are pummeling the 49er's ass like a sailor on Castro Street.

Well I gotta be totally honest....

I really thought the Seahwks would lose this one! I love my guys but the way the 49ers went into New England and did what they did....well it was way more impressive than the Hawks just barely beating the Pats at home. I figured those 50+ point wins were against terrible teams and it was a fluke they lined up back to back.

Now I'm almost in a football daze...like I can't believe MY team is this good. Holy fuck....58-50-42 and against the number 1 defense in the league?!! How the fuck do you score like that and your quarterback doesn't even have 200 yards?

This is some crazy shit going on.

Would some of you be kind enough to go to the OCSM of the week thread and drop a vote for me? Thank you:)

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
I was sold on the Seahawks defense earlier in the season, they just have to start playing better on the road and they will be unstoppable. They're a great up and coming franchise, they're young and they've had a few phenomenal drafts to help them get to this point. Nobody can score on that D at the 12th Man, they even shut down my beloved pack earlier in the year, even though the result should have been a W I have to credit how they disrupted the Packers offense, Hawks are legit.

the only thing that worries me about Seattle is their home/ road split they will be on the road for most if not all of their play-off games and they really struggle on the road. i still think they are one of the most dangerous play-off teams in the NFC but lets see how it plays out

Well I'll say this much about that.... Recently they have won on the road, and quite convincingly, but even when they've lost on the road they've never lost by much at all....touchdown has been the most but usually less. I'm proud of my boys!

right the victory against the bills is you convincing win, the Bears win is the best one otherwise. my point is i'm not sur Seattle can 3 straight road games but it will be fun to watch them try

The hawks are beating teams 50-10 average over the last 3 games. I think you have to go back to before the AFL-NFL merger to find a stretch that dominant.

Whether they can put together a string of road wins in the playoffs or not, one things for sure - other teams don't want to be the first to find out.

And there's still an off chance Seattle could win the division (go cards). Stranger things have happened.

So psyched for the playoffs.

You only have to go back to the Patriots 2007 season. They had a similar stretch where they were blowing everyone away.

Seattle might have the strongest home field advantage in the NFL. Loosing earlier in the season and getting a lower seeding might hurt them.

exactly stranger things have happened. i agree whoever draws the Seahawks first will not be having any fun.

Yep, but...

St. Louis knocked off the Niners twice, just about, and the first of their games with the Seahawks was a W (19-13) as well.

They will knock them down a peg next week (in their 7-0 nest no less), I'm thinking, and perhaps they can hope for a miracle meeting with Dallas again. If no better matchup works out maybe they can try pull a cheat off my Pack again... I want a rematch, sitting and waiting.

Kings of that tough division are the Rams. Next year perhaps, I love that Bradford kid, he's coming around.:D

The Seahawks have become one of my favorite teams to watch, like it is seriously a privilege to watch them play. I can't wait to see more of them in the playoffs.

Anybody think RG3 is still the clear frontrunner for ROTY? Luck has those 7 4th quarter comebacks and rookie yardage record. Russell Wilson is being Russell fuckin Wilson and RG3 is the dual threat, highest passer rating guy that he is, but Luck and Wilson both locked up a playoff spot. I personally think Dallas beats Washington next week and RG3 doesn't make it, but I don't think it matters. Newton won it last year.

I have to give my vote to Luck. The way I see it is, he went onto the worse team out of the three. Wilson went on a team that narrowly missed the playoffs last year with Tarvaris Jackson. And the Redskins were a somewhat strong team last year with Rex  Grossman.. While the colts were a laughing stock. Luck completely turned that team around on his own without the Colts making any big free agent signings like the Redskins. So, I have to give it to Luck even if his stats aren't as impressive as RG3's

How many of Megatron's yards have been in garbage time after the Lions are down 3 scores?

Will ESPN still obsess over Tebow if he signs in the CFL?

I don't think Tebow signs in the CFL, some desperate team is going to sign him...

Let's take a look at the teams that need/want a quarterback this offseason:
1. Jacksonville (Henne is not the answer)
2. Kansas City (they have DraftAQBphobia - they're afraid of drafting quarterbacks in the first round)
3. Vikings (if peterson keeps running like this, he'll be done in 3 years)
4. Raiders (that team is a mess, Matt Leinart played most of last Sunday for them)
5. Arizona (is kevin kolb dead, like where the hell did he go)
6. Jets (even a bigger mess)

and right now it looks like the three biggest options will be: Alex Smith, Michael Vick, and Tim Tebow

okay, so I'm predicting Alex Smith gets traded to The Vikings (I bet you didn't see that one coming), Vick goes to the Arizona Cardinals (I'm betting that they're stupid enough to get two quarterback busts from the Eagles).. I have a feeling The Raiders just might stick with Palmer and Terrell Pryor and see what happens there (although they are a pretty crazy team you never know what could happen)..

So Jacksonville and the Chiefs are left in the Tebow sweepstakes, I think I'm going with Jacksonville because the Chiefs might just go with a qb #1 overall and have cassel be their backup, but that's assuming they can get over their DraftAQBphobia.. And the Jets just sit there like a bunch of idiots.. :2 cents:

Eh, I think KC just has IDon'tgiveafuckaboutwinningaphobia

Haha, it's a combination of the two

Things have changed with rookie salaries recently but that's the main reason the Chiefs wouldn't draft a QB in the first. They're a cheap organization and the owners refused to pay big money to an unproven rookie but sometimes in life you have to take risks, they don't so they're shit. I would bet money that they never even go to another SB in our lifetimes.

1. Luck has been playing like shit lately. Defenses only have to stop the passing game to stop Indy's offense. Luck still makes far too many poor decisions and tries to force the ball into tight spots.
2. The Colts are winning against bad teams (Chiefs, Jaguars, Titans, Lions, Bills, Dolphins, and Browns). That's really not that impressive.
3. When Indy has played decent teams (the Packers notwithstanding), the games haven't been close. See New England, Chicago, and Houston.

The Colts are about to switch head coaches right before the season finale. I love Pagano and his story, but how does his return do anything except disrupt the team? Bruce Arians is a COTY candidate, and he's being discarded like an old coke whore. This is Bruce's year. I'd let him finish out the season and then give the team back to Pagano. The Colts were 9-3 without him. Seems like they were doing just fine.

I expect the Colts to lose to Houston in Week 17 and then get blown out in the first round of the playoffs. Any team that can run the ball is going to give the Colts fits. KC rushed for 352 yards. Think about that.

Give the ROTY to RG3. He at least has a chance to make some noise in the playoffs, and he's been the better QB statistically in a much tougher division.
