Lol, I can't believe the ravens lost to Charlie Batch!!! It cracks me up, just a couple more terrible performances by the offense and soon Cam Cameron will be fired, nice

True NFL Tales

--The Ravens are like a wedding reception: you never know who's gonna show up.
--The Broncos have clinched the powerhouse that is the AFC West. PREDICTION: Peyton will endorse Metamucil before the post-season.
--The Detroit Lions make me long for the Canadian League. But at least we have a starting quarterback. That beats at least six teams in the mix.
--The Oakland Raiders might be the worst football team ever produced by the State of California High School Football system.
--The Seattle Seahawks remind me of the dog at the dinner table...just waiting for somebody to drop a scrap.
--The Kansas City Chiefs played on...teaching us all a lesson about enduring hardship and the importance of honor.

If it's possible, you're being a little too humble with these guys. :D

They are a dangerous young team mixed with guys who have been around the Colts for years.
They play hard every down and most importantly, they have a cause to rally behind in Chuck Pagano.
Sometimes shit like that just carries a team.
If Houston falters in any way the last 4 games and these guys stay hot......

More than any other team this year the Colts aren't as good as their record. They have beat up on weak competition and even a lot of their wins they were close to loosing, and even then some of them took more than a normal amount of luck. What they are doing might even be a curse in disguise considering they will be a rebuilding team getting a bad draft position.

Fixed it for you mate. I am sorry, but I have to concede the title of "Trojan Horse" to the Atlanta Falcons. Who exactly have they beaten of worth this year to earn them a 10-1 record?

Don't worry, Ryan will have his usual choke job in the playoffs. Remember he's yet to win a postseason game in his career, until he does that he will remain overrated in my eyes.

Go read the thread. I lost a bet to Dirk. Get your facepalm the fuck outta here, son!

The difference is that while the Falcons aren't as good as their record, they are at least a somewhat good team, and now ironically probably better than people think they are since they are getting so much of the "not as good as their record vibe going on". Going on their skill level and who they have they should have a couple more losses, but the Colts are an below average to bad team that has gotten extremely lucky, and faced bad competition. The Colts aren't playoff caliber.

The Falcons are better than people give them credit for being. In the NFL unlike college, its not about who you beat or how much you win by, winning games is something thats not as easy as everyone thinks. If it was the Steelers wouldnt lose to the Browns. A win is a win in the NFL no matter who against or the final margin, esp winning close games which is absolutely necessary at this level of football, which the falcons do really well.

I still think the NFC is up for grabs, despite regular season records. ATL has match up problems with Green Bay, NYG, & maybe even the 49ers. Houston is a complete team in the AFC.

ATL seems to play better in the regular season than the play offs and that's where you make your name in the NFL. most folks could care less that Matt Ryan has a great regular season record it's the fact that he can't win play-off games. Eli Manning's regular season record not so hot but he has 2 superbowl wins and that's whats important.
