NFL '11 Season Thread

The Giants have been helped by getting healthier on the defensive side.
the 49ers and Giants could be playing in rain on a muddy field that will be an interesting test for both
the San Francisco Chronicle, local paper, really wants a Harbaugh rematch for the Superbowl.

I see whoever wins the NFC winning the Superbowl. I'm a 49er fan so naturally I'm wanting them to win, still if NY beats us (not gonna happen) then i think they'll take it.

Not really a fan of any team still in the mix, if I had to pick of those remaining, and who I think has a really good chance, I would go with San Francisco.

After everything that's gone on with that franchise this past year, I feel like they're ready for a fresh start and Peyton will be a Redskin next year.

Not if Woody and his Johnson & Johnson billions get to him first.....

Truth. I'd love to see him and Brady go at it twice a year.

I think the Mexican kid has worn out his welcome here.
With Scottenheimer gone and the locker room going to crap, Look for them to make a BIG play for The Sheriff to come and straighten things out.

And look out if Eli happens to win the Super Bowl this year and all this "Eli has eclipsed Peyton" bullshit starts....Peyton will go out and buy a bionic fucking neck if he has to to.:1orglaugh

I don't even want to imagine how good that team could be with Peyton running things.

You think Peyton would let Rex get away w/ the same bullshit he did w/ Sanchez?

Peyton Manning as a Jet is pretty scary, Jets would have actually went to the SB the last 2 years if it weren't for Dirty Sanchez

Even with Peyton, the Jets are not a Super Bowl contender. Their running game is overrated, the defense is regressing alarmingly, and let's not forget that in 2010 Peyton Manning regressed and had an INT problem, and will be coming off a major injury. Plus Peyton Manning would basically the OC, because no one is gonna convince me Tony Sparano is a capable playcaller.

Baltimore @ New England <-- Our players can easily beat new england's... It just comens done to Cameron's playcalling. He does anything remotely like he did against Houston, we're screwed. But, if cam can just call a solid game we can win. It won't be pretty, but that's just how the Ravens do it. 34-24

New York @ San Francisco <-- 49ers are the underdog story of the year. Not a single person believed this team had a shot at the NFC Championship (or even the playoffs). Hardbaugh is easily the coach of the year. But, the giants are just too hot. San Fran just needs to get a WR and a little o-line help and they're be amazing next year. 27-20
