To say Cutler is anywhere close to that same talent as Aaron Rogers is crazy. I'm a Vikings fan so I hate both of them, but you can't be serious with that comment. There are too many people on here that have no idea what the are talking about, I'll leave my football talk for another site. You have officially made a comment dumb enough for me to never post about the NFL here evere again haha.
The question is: Is Rogers that much better than Cutler? I really don't think so.
Rogers has a MUCH better offense to work with... top to bottom. Better receivers, better line, better tight end, but lets call it what is: Cutler does only slightly less than Rogers with MUCH LESS!!! Switch out the QB's. How good would Rogers be with Chicago's offense and vice-versa. It is much more of a possibility that Cutler win the Super Bowl with GB than it is Rogers wins the NFC North with the Bears.
If you think Cutler is anywhere near Rodgers in terms of talent, you need to have your head examined. Jay Cutler is a fucking awful QB and a little crybaby bitch.
Don't get me wrong, Rogers is a more talented QB, but my statement was Cutler isn't that much worse. In fact, the two advantages Rogers has is above the shoulders and accuracy. Now it's a big advantage, but everything else goes to Cutler or push at best.
A: The Bears Offense: Jay is a very good QB. Martz is a very good O-Coordinator. This should tell you just how bad the Bears offense is if those two can't make a huge difference. The O-line was bar none one of the 5 worst, and the receiving core was mediocre at best. Anybody trying to say that Cutler is to blame totally for this is fucking moronic. Did he contribute? Yes. Would he have any more than half the picks or sacks if he had GB's offense?
HELL NO!!!!!!!
B: People just don't like him as a person: Admit it, most of the Cutler hate is solely based on him as a person... not what he does on-field. Even the experts don't talk shit about his play, what do they talk about?... his body language. His facial expression. His break-up with starlet GF. I'm still waiting for people to admit that they just don't like him. Is it warranted? To a degree, but like Tim Tebow, if you listen to the haters and media types, you'd never know he was good. And... are you ready for this...
HE IS!!!!!!!!!
Easy to point out the bullshit, but who else make these plays... be honest. No hate. Let's not act like he's bullshit.
This is what you bring... hating ass Trent Dilfer? Honestly, do you go by Trent fucking Dilfer? Do you honestly take him seriously? It's widely known that Dilfer is the fucking worst idiot analyst ESPN has. Period.
That being said, why is it that out of all the points I put out there were not addressed except analysts talking shit about Jay's play. Is it because when you stop hating and actually look at Cutler's play, you get to see that he is pretty fucking good? Yeah... I think that's it. Ignore it all. That's the game. It works for Tebow, and it works for Cutler as well apparently.

First of all, I'm sorry you're still so butt hurt over getting made to look like a retard defending that 3rd stringer out in Denver, which is pretty evident by you bringing him up when no one's even talking about him. Second, I find it mildly hysterical that a guy who tries to back up his arguments by saying 'Skip Bayless agrees with me' has the nerve to call someone else out as an 'idiot analyst':1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh (you remember these smileys don't you, they come out when you make me laugh with idiot statements). And lastly it's always amusing when you revert to once again 'flat out making shit up' by now labeling Trent dilfer as being 'widely known as the worst idiot analyst ESPN has. If you can't comprehend someone being among the worst in the league in red zone and 3rd and long situations as valid criticism and simply view it as 'hating' you need to start wiping certain QBs ball sweat from your eyes and start telling it like it is. It's obvious in dealing with you I'm wasting my time in arguing with someone of low mental capacity so I'll put you in the same area Denver's QB coach has put Tim Tebow; on my ignore list. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

A: You didn't answer my question.
B: You compounded your dodging of this by simply ignoring it all. (isn't that what I said would happen?)
Cutler was amongst the worst in the red zone??? No, THE BEARS were amongst the worst in the red zone. You just can't put that one guy. The entire offense is to blame for that. Do you even watch the games, dude? My guess is you probably haven't seen a single Bears game, and rely on SportsCenter for you all your info. Actually watch the games, then come talk. No wonder you're running away. I can't blame you... you couldn't stand the heat, so you got out the kitchen.
No hate here. I respect anyone that actually watches the games not just takes analysts word for things all the damn time. He doesn't watch the games, doesn't really have a basis to stand on besides what Trent Dilfer says, and as I said would happen, he ignored everything and decided to run away. It's comedy, not drama.
Rodgers is with Brees and Rivers in the talk about who the best quarterback besides Manning or Brady is. Cutler isn't what I call bad and he might still have room to improve, but he's in the top half of the league somewhere and not to the level Rogers is.
Trent Dilfer is a garbage analyst. I feel myself getting dumber everytime I listen to him. I learn nothing from him.
Jay Cutler right now is the poor man's Brett Favre. He's good enough to make going with the alternative/backup unpalatable. I do think he has a crappy attitude, but the Bears WRs haven't exactly been elite, and how would he fare with an elite caliber #1 WR and #2WR?
The Elite QBs are Brady, Manning, Brees, Rivers, Big Ben, Rogers....that's it. Everyone else is behind them. I think Sam Bradford might be the best young QB and a threat to join the Elite.
Bottomline I would take Jay Cutler over Tony Romo who, for reasons unknown to me, is thought of highly by people... :dunno:
Romo is very overrated. Stafford has shown signs of greatness but has been a China Doll so far and Cutler is survicable but has let me down in the last 2 yrs. I thought he was better. I don't hold him responcible for droped passes but many haven't even been close to target
i watched enough of Jay Cutler when he was in Denver, im pretty certain he is not among the elite quarterbacks. He puts up amazing numbers at the end of the game, but going back to Denver, i was so happy every time he gave the Chargers the gift of throwing it to one of their DB's in the red zone, and every other team thanked him too. He has a long history of being one of the worst red zone QB's, i need two hands to count the number of end zone interceptions hes thrown in his career.
I'd go with Steve Young and Merrill Hoge. Every other analyst pretty much kisses the asses of players and basically is in the bag for the position he played. For example-- Stink Schlereth will always default to the OLine as being the strength or the problem of whatever team he's watching. Keyshawn and Cris Carter always discuss WRs. If we listen to Teddy Bruschi too much then we'll all come away believing the fate of a team rests solely with the LBs .....
An analyst needs to be able to look beyond the position he played....I think Steve Young and Merrill Hoge are the only ones who do that effectively
As much as it pains me to say this -- I think Troy Aikman is the best in-game analyst.

Exactly. Cutler is certainly in that grouping right under the elite with guys like Ryan, Bradford, Vick, Freeman, Romo, and one or two others. I honestly can't see why folks like Dilfer and Schlerth act like Cutler is trash simply because they don't like the guy. People need to stop drinking the kool-aid haters serve and watch the games.
