My Bears need to seriously take a look at putting Josh McCown in at QB. I'd start Hanie next week but he's going to be on a short leash. I know McCown hasn't played in a game in a few years but he can't be any worse than Hanie. The defense played well but you can't keep relying on them to win games every week
This might just be the strangest day of football I've ever seen. Already 5 safeties, denver scores 13 points in the last 5 minutes and in overtime, the 32nd ranked offense scores 28 points, 7 back up quarterbacks played, and a 5th round/3rd string QB led his team on a touchdown drive at the end of the game.

I got to admit, I didn't expect Yates to be anything but crappy. It's not as if he lit it up in college. I think it shows that there's plenty of talent in Houston, not just Schaub and Johnson.

Have patience. Next week it really gets tough for TT. But let's not take that away from him or the team. Even John Elway has been eating crow on this one...along with the entire ESPN staff. Besides...Tebow has yet to fail to credit the rest of his team in every post-game interview.

Agreed, but Yates unquestionably was the leader of the team on that final drive. He was terrific in the clutch....I've never seen Schaub engineer a game-winning drive like that!!! Maybe he'll crater in the next game but so far Yates has been lights out.
Who also laid an egg today. Surprised the hell outta me.

Their secondary needs improvement. And their red zone efficiency needs to improve. Akers hit 4 field goals today. Field goals are failed touchdowns. The 9ers will get there. I'm just happy to see more than 6 wins this season! Everything else is a bonus. Baby steps, baby.
