NFL '10/'11 Season Thread.

I can attest to Wes Welker winning Fantasy games. i've been on both ends of him routinely delivering 15-20 pts a week. in passing leagues he is deadly.

i just hope the Bears put up more of a game against the Pats then the Jets did.

Welker is a great player, he just doesn't get much love because he isn't a "sexy" WR. Remember, he was a Dolphin and the Pats traded more away to get him than they did to get Moss. Belichek knew he could play. To paraphrase, coach B said he couldn't figure out a way to stop him, so he decided to do what it took to get him.

Welker has helped win more Fantasy Football leagues than TO, 85 and any other receiver you want ot bring up. the guy is flat-out great. Look at the stats.

He is a great player but in the context Brady/Manning debate and which WR a QB would prefer to have...Welker or Wayne (for example)? Most would prefer Wayne because not only is he as fast as Welker or faster, he's can make more plays on the ball because of his size and strength...Wayne can attack you with every route in the playbook...A QB wouldn't have that advantage with Welker.

Man I really hate Brady.

You need to get a haircut you fucking hippie and your wife is highly overrated in the looks department!

Like him or not looks like he is going to be the next MVP. I was hoping it would be Vick, but unless Brady has some awful games these last 4 weeks its going to him.

Hey guys, need your opinion...

In my fantasy league, I have Peyton and Eli Manning....who would you start this week?

I always go with Peyton, but my confidence is beginning to waiver...but last week the Giants ran it a ton. Any opinions?

Real tough one...looking at their opponents about as tough figure as deciding whether to fuck Bree Olson or eat her...The point with Eli is the Giants are a more complete team playing a better team than the Colts...I know, makes no sense but if the game with the Vikes gets into a tussle and neither team is getting blown out, Eli will probably be forced to throw more.

At the same time Peyton has no real running game and he has to pass just to keep the Colts in the game most times...

I would say Peyton....but take my advice with a serious grain of salt on fantasies dealing with anything other than hot chicks as I have played fantasy football exactly once, 6 years ago. I did okay after I took it seriously.:o

you have to start older brother...he's due for a big game

These fines are getting out of control.

It's bad enough when somebody get fined because the rule is stupid in the first place, which the NFL has many stupid rules now, but it's even worse when the person that gets fined didn't even commit the penalty in most people's opinions.

Tennessee Titans need an offensive line, an established QB because of VY's blowup this year with Coach Fisher. They also could use some DBs because their secondary has been banged up all year and Courtland Finnegan has been frustrated and taken off his game on too many times.

Well it wouldn't make much sense to bench a guy who throws a ton of interceptions for a guy who also throws a ton of interceptions.

Peyton.

Vick will win cause NFL loves a feel good story (except for when they fine people)

Belichick trading for Welker had very little with his ability to potentially be a star so much as his status as an undervalued commodity. He's a pure slot guy who fits the system he's in. Don't get me wrong, he's a good receiver, but the attraction the Pats had to him was mostly about being an undervalued asset.

hmm i see Urban meyers is leaven florida so how long until he is coaching tebow in denver
