apparently they're finally gonna take batman seriously again, no bright colors, no over the top cartoony performances....all bat....dark and gritty and raw. and the actor for batman supoosedly has some serious acting chops....and they got a great independant filmaker director- you remember that guy who made Memento???

the thing i'm looking forward to most about the forthcoming batman movie is the inclusion of my favorite actress out there, katie holmes. hopefully she'll be getting plenty of screen time cuz that'd be worth the price of admission in itself.

i think batman begins will be the best in the series.. the director christopher nolan(Memento, insomnia) is great at making dark moody films, this will be the man to bring batman back to his roots!!

I thought the first film already dealt with the beginnings of batman. Oh well I guess I am more interested in next batman where Bruce is no longer batman but his mentor (more futuristic). What about a movie on the Green Lantern or Wonder Woman or even the teen titans? There is too much of the old Batman. Boy would I like to see Kristin Kreuk as Wonder woman oh btw do you guys follow the batman comics? I heard the new Robin is a girl (tim drake's replacement). Hey talking about Robin what about a movie on the Nightwing (dick greyson)?

Don't get me started! I'm a fan of DC comics but they suck ass at converting their comics to movies or television shows. For some reason Marvel has the formula down pat but DC just keeps on doing all the wrong things. First of all I think they focus to much on the Batman and Superman Movie Franchises when they have all sorts of comics they can convert into movies like Green Lantern, Flash, Teen Titans, Justice League, Nightwing, etc. Second when they do make a movie about one of their other comics they screw it up like they did with Supergirl, Steel, and coming soon Catwoman. They dont stay faithful to the comic, they dont take the material seriuosly, and they dont cast the movie well (remember Shaq as Steel) Also they chose to convert the wrong comics into movies I mean why else would they make a movie about Steel who's comic wasn't that popular to begin with. That movie was all about Shaq and trying to make him into a movie star which cant be done because he cant act. Then they dont get the right directors to direct the movies X-men was good because Bryan Singer is a fan of the comic and took the material seriously same thing with Sam Raimi and Spider-Man. The only thing DC comics is good at is converting their comics into Saturday Morning cartoons. They need to wake up and start doing things right.

As for the new Robin being a girl DC has flirted with that idea for years nonetheless I dont think it will last plus I've seen the covers of future issues of Teen Titans and it looks like Tim Drake is still Robin in them so dont worry!
