My thoughts on God

Why does god need my "praise" anyway?

He also teaches us this;
I'd Really Rather You Didn't Build Multimillion-Dollar Churches/Temples/Mosques/Shrines To My Noodly Goodness When The Money Could Be Better Spent (Take Your Pick):
1. Ending Poverty
2. Curing Diseases
3. Living In Peace, Loving With Passion, And Lowering The Cost Of Cable
I Might be a Complex-Carbohydrate Omniscient Being, But I Enjoy The Simple Things In Life. I Ought To Know. I AM the Creator.

There is no what you call god. The Flying Spaghetti Monster created everything and he doesn't need anyone's praise. He's really a cool noodly guy.

Leviticus 20:9 Every man cursing his father or his mother is certainly to be put to death; because of his curse on his father or his mother, his blood will be on him.

Exodus 35:2 For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Exodus 21:20-21 If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property.

1 Peter 2:18 Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.

Ah yes, the shameful bible verses. The verses that are like a relative found guilty of a sex offence, they have to be hidden away at all costs. But that dirty little secret is always there and always will be there for one and all to read.

:rofl2:

The whole bible is all about control. It has to be the scariest most dangerous book ever written. I think its fair to say that millions and millions of people have died because of that damned book.

I tell ya, if I had a choice to spend eternity with a cast down angel or a jealous, sexist, racist, murder preaching, tries to convence others of his "love" deity I'd have to chose poor little satan. He/she is like the nerd that gets picked on by the populare jealous bitch (jesus) who makes up rules in which to slave the others and punish those who rebel.
