I originally got to thinking about this when I saw the thread about the guide horse for the muslim woman, but it felt more appropriate to make a new thread than to majorly off topic in the existing.

I might be putting this in the most undiplomatic way possible, but does anyone actually give a shit anymore about what muslims think about everything?

They dont like something so they blow it up, they feel something is offensive so it gets banned because they bitch and moan about their religion. Somone takes a stand against them and they again threaten to blow more things up. They burn poppies in protest and no one says anything because they know threats of being blown up or a religious stand will be made.

If anyone of a different religion tried any of the shit they pull in our country, i.e if someone burned a bhurka how long before there was a vid of them on the internet being executed? We see mosques and places of worship being built for them, to accomodate their needs, but when do you think you'll see a church built in their sandy backyards? Probably never!

Am I reading this all wrong? Am I unfairly becoming racist? But its Muslim wants this, Muslim wants that and I get sick of hearing it. When was the last time you saw a paper in the UK that didnt have something about religious radicals doing something that in a common sense world shoud have them fucking deported.

Meh...we certainly seem to care about what the radical Muslims think, considering that we form a gross generalization of all Muslims based solely on what the loony ones say and do. No point in stressing this continuously, but you'll find instances of extremism regardless of religion. For every muslim extremist who wants to bomb a building you'll find a radical christian who wants to burn the Koran or murder a middle-eastern cab driver.

This is more indicitive of what the papers want to print, there are religious extremists of all types that go out of their way to be difficult and get laws changed to suit themselves. Now what happens in the UK is if a sole muslim or a single mosque causes a fuss over something petty the front page of the newspapers will read ''muslims complain about...'' so it gives the impression that every muslim in the UK banded together to try and change something when in reality it was a troublesome few. You also hear little about the muslims that contribute a lot to society and keep their heads down and work hard, the NHS would collapse without them. ps Where would you deport British born and raised Muslims to :dunno:

You're not the only one that gotten sick of their friggin bitchin and moaning. If they want to join humanity in the 21st century then they have to reform that religion, abandon violence, close the madrassas, educate both men and women science, art, literature, medicine, etc etc instead of memorizing some dumb useless book.
If they don't do these things which is most likely then they can be left behind in the 7th century to fossilize.
