My Pirates are in second place! :nanner:
I'm going to enjoy the hell out of this while it lasts......which won't be long :o

Unfortunately Mets can't play Nats for 162 games. But I'll be happy with a sweep tomorrow.

the yankees just lost 2 to the red sox at fenway. it's too early in the season. these are april games after all but as long as they're yankees-red sox, there's always that oomph, that edge. did i say i'm a yankees fan? mo blew his first save opportunity. if i remember right, he also blew his first 2 save opportunities to boston last year and it turned out to be one of the best years in his career. so he should be fine. can't wait till wang gets back his sinker. of course, i'm also curious how phil hughes will perform in his place this tuesday. if a-rod gets back in tip-top shape in time for the next yankees-red sox games, then it will be a hell of a series!! GO YANKEES!!!:nanner:

the Yankees have no repeat no pitching in the bullpen when you are constantly pitching from behind in the count the hitters just wait for a strike then kill it. all a-rods return will do is help them finish north of .500. so the Marlins have lost 6 straight so much for the 11-1 start. i think the Pirates are going to finish .500 because the young players are gaining confidence that they can play

I just want to go to new Yankees stadium. Are tickets a rip off? Because when I watch yankee game recaps on tv, I see nothing but empty seats behind home plate.

Yeah, that is a big complaint about the new stadium, all of the decent seats are overpriced. I think I remember the announcers on TV saying that the empty seats behind the sides of home plate are somewhere around $265.

I think the most expensive seats cost around $2500, thats gots to be a reason for empty primo seats. Nice win over the dodgers for the G-Men and a nice visit from #25 who came up from LA to watch his old team. Kinda makes up for the stink job the Sharks pulled off today and in the playoffs.

Fucking Cubs lost again. They have got to do something about their pitching. Throw strikes already!!!!

except all the those empty seats in yankee statidum are bought through personal seat license the people who own them probably only go to few games and the rest of the year the tix are unused. the Phillies seem to like being the cardiac kids again get behind then win late.

Pitchers continually refusing or incapable of throwing strikes when the other team obviously knows it and isn't swinging is one of the most frustrating things that I find about watching a game when it happens. That might make me want to turn the channel and watch something else quicker than almost anything else.

^^^BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Pirates having a winning year, thats less likely than time travel or flying carpets. Good to see Lincecum's back to his usual dominant ways. Even as a Giants fan you have to appreciate Vin Scully as the greatest broadcaster in baseball.
