Renzo Gracie is coming to the UFC to fight Matt Hughes.
Renzo is Royce's brother and is the more charismatic of the Gracie. He's 42 and is an elite BJJ player with better stand up than Royce. It's a good fight for both aging fighters and a big money fight for both guys late in their careers.

it never seems to end with johnson or kos they are always involved in fights that have eye pokes. isnt this like the 3rd fight that had MAJOR eye poke issues for/against Rumble johnson?
forrest looked good not as exact as he did vs Rampage when he would jab,punch,kick,step back,reset,change angle then just repeat the same thing again. he picked apart rampage like that. he did get out of some good clinches against the cage and on the mat to scramble back to his feet and that helped counter the 2 takedowns that tito had earlier in the fight.
Did u notice Tito did barely anything in the 3rd rd?
i said to my friend before the fight (when he was in the Harley Davidson Prep Zone) "see his black eye,he is gonna use it as an excuse if he loses" my friend was surprised when Tito's post fight interview he gave not 1 ....BUT 2!!!! excuses!!. his c67 vertebrae ...What? c67?! and he was fighting with a cracked skull under his eye?!!! i dont think the Nevada fight commision would allow someone to fight with a cracked skull!
tito always has an excuse and that is why so many people (myself included) hate him.

looks like a good show i cant wait i have a hockey game 630-800 on saturday so it will make the time fly to get to the show.
i was surprised on TUF last night that Kimbo passed on the chance to fight since mitrione is a wuss! he pretty much tapped as soon as they fell to the mat.
Dana dont pull no punches and he's right, if someone steps up and says that "matt is being a baby i want that fight" you know dana would have given it to whoever.but these guys arent about winning or become a better fighter.
its about making some TV impression which goes nowhere...unless your amir sadollah he has a tv presence to do the job.
i think kimbo could pull out a win, alexander is tough but a solid shot to his jaw has been proven fatal to him winning.
i think hamill (who i really like) is gonna get trounced i think jon jones is gonna be quick and exciting and take it to hamill
fuck roy, i liked him initially but i think brendan will be ready to take the win. roy has the experience but he does the same move every fight (crucifix) what if he cant get to that position? i think he's in trouble and outta shape
I hear ya, Roy is quite the cheap fighter but the crucifix works. Marcus needs to work on his stand up and almost got his own crucifix on Shaub but fortunately, Shaub can get out of the move. I'm glad Matt (baby) and James (asshole) were defeated and Marcus gets to fight Matt.
Kimbo's feet are still messed up and both Houston and Kimbo have glass jaws so Houston's experience may help. I'm pulling for Hamill but bones is crazy fast and elusive.

jon jones got fucked in my opinion-but i understand the rules-steve mazzagatti is a clueless tool (dana has said it in an interview with Opie&Anthony he is the worst ref and is clueless in MMA refereing and only does the UFC fight because Vegas athletic commision picks him)-take the point away but dont DQ the guy, make it a no contest since hamill could not continue.

Fuck Paul Daly i liked him but the UFC has come from this sport that nobody wanted (ppv) and everyone thought was some sick roman times disgrace fighting to actualy having rules and now being the "place" to be (boxing is a joke + fixed fight)...and daly drops this low and possibly puts a black eye on the UFC??!! yes really. Mirko shocks the world stopping someone who was suppose to smash him, two heavy weights give us a fight as exciting as a LW bout and Rich showed great composure against a good looking Chuck. This UFC gave us a great card considering how the hype was very low. Shane vs Lesnar should be great but with Rashad and Rampage turning out to be a hyped dispappointment, I'm holding back my enthusiasm.
yea maybe your right it wasnt such a great HYPED card.
mirko is like that, he'll look good this fight and then his next he will get taken out relatively simple by someone who shouldnt beat him.
the heavyweight bout was Eh..neither here nor there at least it wasnt 2 heavyweights gassed i nthe first 3 minutes then have nothing left for the rest of the fight.Rich did look good and Chuck looked in great shape (mostly b/c he was gonna punch tito's head clean off!)
Now i was wasnt disappointed in the Rampage-Rashad match, i think it was WAY TOO OVER-HYPED but i think it lived up pretty close to expectations,it went all 3 round both guys had an advantage at one point or another. that is my opinion.
i hope Brock crushes carwin i have bben a brock fan since the WWE days so i am big on him here in the UFC
