This is messed up...they should just leave the lesbians alone.

I didn't go to prom. Other than all the slutty girls, what is there for me to do?

How is that possible?

At my high school, there was a slut who was always giving guys blowjobs. She got bumps on her tougne and then she became a lesbian right before graduation. She makes me feel like such a super-virgin...

Looks like another classic example of topics Bill Maher so eloquently goes on about.

America seems to be so 19th-century, once more.

Talk about putting the pressure of the entire student body on this girl. The next thing on the news will be about how her fellow students brutally attacked her.

Good God, if that happens I'll get the barbed wire baseball bat ready and go beat down those country assholes myself.

I understand that people have different views on things, but two lesbians going to a prom together doesn't affect anyone. Why not just ignore the lesbian couple(s) if you don't like them? Where I live, a girl I knew took a girl date to prom and no one cared. People may have thought they were lesbians (even though they were really just two single girls), but no one cared.

I really don't see why anyone would care anyway. I think this will truly be a great country when people stop forcing their moral values and beliefs on other people.

 Agreed...I concur with the sexy lady from Texas...I mean Cali....uh...from Oahu :dunno:

Trying to force others to see things your way seems to me to be a tactic of an insecure person.....and we got a bunch of them in this country....if an idea is good just presenting it to someone should be enough for them to get on board with it...and if not...oh well

:2 cents:

This story seems funny to me. I went to my girlfriends Prom 10 years ago in a Tux and nobody batted an eye at the fact I was a lesbian. But I didn't ask there permission I just went. So why is it such a big deal now?

Cause you live in Colorado, not Mississippi.

she got what she wanted one way or another: ATTENTION.
now maybe she'll get some money out of it too.
what a country!

The school is right in this case.
The girls could have just went and thats that.
But its the tuxedo thing, whether some like it or not there is a thing called tradition.
And a chic in a tuxedo aint it.

Who the fuck wants to see that?
It would be a distraction just the same as a student going to the prom with his/her great dane, putting a dress on it and dance dance dance the night away with it.

I agree with you, but if she looks like a lot of lesbians, she probably looks better in a tux than she would in a dress anyway. We always fantasize about lesbians looking like swimsuit models, but there are a MANY of them who look a lot more like Rosie O'Donnell than Cindy Crawford.

Bitches aint supposed to wear tux.

That is all.

I'll probably sound like the big loon here, but I don't think school should even have proms. Schools shouldn't even be associated with them. The tax payer shouldn't be beholden to teenage felt entitlements and the social gatherings they covet and, even if the kids pay for much of it, it's rarely unaided by the school. Let the kids fund and organize their proms and then they can make the rules.

But as far as tradition goes, I don't agree. If a chick wants to dress like a dude, so be it. She's inviting any criticism she may receive from her peers, but has the right to risk it. I do believe it's an attention grabber...there's nothing biologically sexual about a tux. It's not even innate for a heterosexual man to want to wear a tux. It's a political statement and nothing more. But I'm not so sure we should shun the things that don't ultimately effect us. Would anybody object to somebody inviting a severe burn victim as their prom guest? That'd be a pretty sobering distraction.

Some of look like men...flat out men. I grew up in the homosexual capital of the Midwest and I saw them (and still see them) quite a bit.

Actually, two houses down are two rug munchers and yes, they quite butch. I feel sorry for these people more than anything else having to deal with the ridicule they receive so often. When we were younger and more naive we used to always fuck with their rainbow stickers and so on on their bumpers. :o

I wish the great folks of Mississippi would worry more about getting the reading level up and the infant mortality rate down than if two lesbians want to go to a school function at the school they attend

I also agree. I'm a fairly open-minded guy I think, and I have ABSOLUTELY nothing against the Lesbian community (and I know we're all on an adult film industry message board, but c'mon and let's get a bit serious for only one moment), and you Crazy4theBrat took the words right out of my mouth. As well as Kevin Smith's in dialogue from Chasing Amy (1997) from when Holden MacNeil and his openly-Gay friend were discussing "tyical Lipstick Lesbians" in the Record Store and picking out CDs.

The bottom line is if she ultimately looked better in a tux and wished to wear it, then I don't really see what the big deal was all about. Maybe we're all missin' something here, but I doubt she was in the wrong. Also big thanks for the message on my profile, Brat. I'll give ya a reply in a while.
