She deserves every good thing thats coming to her. Not many kids have the balls to protest discrimination, especially when it concerns them. Hell, most adults are too scared to stand up for what they believe in. She got shit on, more than once, and none of it was warranted...she's done a great thing, and has inspired probably countless young adults into being more accepting and non judgemental....I wouldn't call the money a reward, but certainly the good karma that finally made it her way.
