I can understand people not particularly liking his work but from what I've read on this thread it's like he's the ultimate criminal in the porn biz. If people are going to name Max as an abuser, misogynist etc...then they should include all the people that followed in his foot steps as well because they're fisting, using baseball bats as dildos, spitting on women’s faces, stepping on their heads, choking, A2M, slapping, pissing, gagging etc... besides the fact that Max made all of these acts standard in porn, I think he gets criticized more because he's not typically what you see in porn as a "leading man" he's old, definitely not a looker compared to the talent in the industry today. Also Max is almost becoming a martyr of the porn industry because of all this shit that is happening to him and I think people fail to recognize that.

Actually, I would (& do by posting this) criticize those men as well, except for the fact that
A. I never watch that stuff and
B. I don't know those people's names

I personally believe that people should be treated with respect and in sexual situations, preferably with tenderness. Of course it's hard to expect tenderness in a porn movie and because of that I don't, but I do expect at least SOME respect, which people like Max and the ones who've followed in his footsteps haven't shown.

Well, I've seen enough short clips to form my own opinion, Which led me to conclude that I didn't want to see their full movies. That, combined with the fact that most people don't seem to think highly of Max, makes me believe I chose correctly.

to my knowledge I haven't seen any of his stuff other then what's been posted on here. what I wanted to comment on was this alleged documentary(?) If she signed a contract saying she would agree to do certain things and then he did other things to her that she didn't agree on, then that's rape. and he should be brought up on criminal charges. just because you are having sex with someone and even if you are paying them and making a film, you don't have the right to do anything to them that they don't want you too. It's no different for anyone else in any situation. and just because a person doesn't get up and walk away, which is often very hard when a stronger man is forcing them, doesn't make it any less non-consensual.

it's pretty sad, I imagine this thing happens to a lot of young women in the business and they aren't aware of thier rights. there's nothing wrong with being a porn star, just like there's nothing wrong with being a police officer. but putting someone who is violent and abusive in a position where they have the ability to have power over other people can create a problem. I think they need to start doing psych evaluations for these things.

There was 3 girls on the documentry all trying different ways to get into porn.But all 3 ended up auditioning for Max and if you think I remember names after the some years since I saw this I'd make a fortune.Yes I know one went back to work for him.Another went onto getting parts in some US,UK and Euro porn films.The one I'm talking about never did anything else she went back to her old job and could still be there for all we know.

PS. I really don't feel that any ammount of simulated material (IE: violent movies, porn, video games, etc.) will have an anti-social effect on people that allready know the difference between reality and fantasy. However, I have to admit that these don't do so much to deter the psychologicaly unstable that may allready be inclined towards these things. Most serial killers and rapist site pornography among thier highest intrests. this is a little off topic, but it's something to think about.
