It Rose a bit in December 2009...

Much as I would enjoy a poster with a screen name like MasterrBaiter :)rolleyes:) getting into a pissing match with his Mensa doppleganger "Pete Rose", anyone who disses Worf (or for that matter any Romulan) is just flat out wrong. As in "in the head wrong"; as in "wanking to torture sites" wrong; as in "even a Vulcan would turn away from the illogic" wrong.
Bad, bad direction to take.:nono:

Worf is a Klingon.

Worf is a Klingon.
You are correct, sir.
I knew there was a race I was forgetting...Klingons are who I was trying to remember...they consider themselves a notch or so above Romulans on the evolutionary scale, as do Vulcans in relation to Klingons.

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
Let me tell you something about Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the stereotypes that surround it...

I went to a friend's house on Monday to drink a few beers and play some video games. Well, we got a little too drunk and neither of us was able to drive. And, I didn't really feel like spending the night there, because his house was waaaaay too hot. So, I called Westlake Cab, which is a local cab company here in the Cleveland area. The hub for the cabs is literally about a 10 minute drive from my friend's house. He lives in Bay Village, which is literally right next to Westlake. And, I live in Lakewood, which is about 5 minutes away from Bay Village. So, all in all, it should take a cab about 20 minutes (including waiting time to get picked up) to get me home from there. Anyway, it was just before midnight when I called and this is the following conversation that took place...

Guy: "Westlake Cab."
Me: "Hey, can I get a cab?"
Guy: "Yeah. What's the pick up address?"
Me: "Blah blah blah, in Bay Village."
Guy: "And where are you going to?"
Me: "Lakewood."
Guy: "Ok, that'll be about a 3 hour wait."
Me: "Oh, ok. Wait, WHAT?"
Guy: "Yeah, nobody's working tonight, so it'll be about a 3 hour wait."
Me: "What do you mean 'nobody's working'?"
Guy: "It's MLK Day."
Me: "Yeah, so?"
Guy: "Sooooo, we're a cab company. And, most of our drivers are black. Do you honestly think they were coming into work today?"

So, how did I remember Martin Luther King Jr? By having a grown up sleepover at my friend's house.

Well, she probably wouldn't know who George Washington, Abraham Lincoln or Mohandas Ghandi were either.

You should have told her, "Feliz Día de Pablo Escobar!" I bet her eyes would have lit up then! :D

I guess if the prerequisite to getting into Mensa is asking how your ramblings about religion have anything to do with this thread other than being inflammatory, then yes, I am on my way to Mensa.
What i am speaking of is lazy crybaby american blacks dwelling on the past, hell where i live the mexicans think the same thing. And they are not bias.
I had to address this because of it's ridiculousness. So you're saying "hey even ANOTHER race thinks the same thing!" Sound logic.

"Gandhi(Ahimsa) was the guiding light of our technique for non violent social change". MLK

From the philosophies of Thoreau to the example of Gandhi the Civil Rights Movement was an eclectic mix of races ,religions, philosophies, sexual & political persuasions :

Fredrick Douglass(abolitionist/suffragist)W E B DuBois(NAACP),Michael Schwermer(Jewish who was killed registering Black voters),Bayard Rustin(Gay/Atheist) & A Phillip Randolph(Creators/Main Organizers of March On Washington), Malcolm X/Elijah Muhammad(Muslims),
Jo Ann Robinson(jumpstarted the Montgomery bus boycott),etc.............too many others to name here.

And far too many to concentrate on a single person I feel :dunno: ,but MLK certainly showed outstanding courage/resolve/intelligence in the face of such danger.

No, put away those "I've been accepted into Mensa!" announcements...you are not any closer to Mensa membership than Pluto is to Andromeda.
Let me try a little kindness...you seem so lost and point-less.
You are not real sharp...I get that. You Miss sarcasm, You Miss the point, you say things that are so simpleminded and off-mark that I cringe in embarrassment.
Try to concentrate as long as possible, before the head pain sets in...
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King was a Southern Baptist Minister...and he preached his message from Church pulpits and podiums in front of large crowds.
He used the name of Jesus Christ and invoked the name of God, and referred to the Bible many times. He never once tried to be secular, and only a simple person would try to change his source of inspiration or his belief system from the Church to a secular philosophy.
You Missed all that, of course, and continue to embarrass yourself with off-center comments and obvious misunderstanding.
Maybe another thread would be easier for you to post in...like a "which hand do you jack-off with?" type discussion? At least you could participate fully in that topic, and avoid all those headaches...
And really...forget about that Mensa invitation.:rofl2:

And here I am, still asking you what ANY of that has to do with the thread. Instead of dodging the question by trying really hard to be smarmy, actually answer the question. It's a pretty simple question.

I give up, you are incredibly dense and either trying to make yourself out to be so slow as to "not hear what is being said"...or you really don't see the obvious.
I specifically answered your simple question, and there is your answer in my and Blue Countach's posts, easy enough to understand.
One may lead a horse to water, but you can't make his dumbass drink.
You're on your own...

The only thing you've done is ramble about how he was Christian and make terrible jokes. Again, this thread is about his social actions. His religion does not come into play. Why are you even talking?

You are confusing a technique with a philosophy of belief.
I may use a tool discovered and made by an Atheist Islamic raging Queen to put fittings on some RG6 coaxial cable I am using to bring a televised message of brotherly Love or Christian Mass Murder to an audience...that doesn't mean I based my teachings on Atheist Islamic raging Queen philosophies.
I simply used a tool created for use by someone else to bring my personal message to my personal masses.
Thoreau and Gandiji created techniques to achieve certain goals, and the good Dr King used these tools to attain his goals...there is not a melding of intent by his doing so.

"Die Religion ... ist das Opium des Volkes" - religion is the opiate of the masses.
Though your comparions leave alot to be desired. But like anything if you flip it about you can find an angle you can use for any cause, be it righteous or not.

Are you completely unable to stop posting the same drivel?

Show something other than over and over saying "No it's not"; prove some actual point or STFU.
Are you old enough to even be on this site?:nono:

Just because you are not intellectually honest does not preclude some one else from being so.
If you are a firm believer in misusing facts and statistics to prove or disprove anything, you are not a seeker of truth but a seeker of victories.
I don't need to "win" arguments 'cause I am secure in what I know and believe, and in what I need to learn more about.
I see those, such as yourself and the infamous Fox of yesteryear, who merely post to try to turn a funny phrase or "win" an argument at the expense of coming to a truthful conclusion with others and exchanging new facts between various people; I can tell a perverted fact a mile away.

Intellectual honesty? I was quoting Karl Marx who may not be respected by you. He is respected by many intellectuals. All I ever see from you is circular logic, Smartly dressed veiled insults then childish tantrums about neg rep to which I replied in kind for once. Perverted fact? Wtf is a perverted fact? That smells of yesteryear fancy phrases to me.

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
I would like to suggest that, in accordance with the spirit in which the original post was made, that this thread be closed and a new thread be started (or not!) to continue the rather meandering, rambling, irrelevant and irreverent abyss into which the current discourse has seemingly dead-ended itself.
