Isn't it nearby the Everglades by any chances??? Personnally I wouldn't feel comfortable bathing in a river especially with no trespassing boards in the nearby areas. BTW who is that guy in the vid ????

georges it isn't anywhere near the everglades. it's near Tampa. it's called crystal river. it's a river that is fed by natural springs so the water is 72 degrees year round. the gators stay out of the water because they are reptiles and that water is very cold for them. You see them sunning on the side but rarely in the water. and it's very rare for gators to go near people unless they have been fed by people and associate them with food.

And the no trespassing signs are because those are private property and they don't want people boating to come onto their land, which they surely would.

and the guy in the video is my friends boyfriend.

Well I have been to Nice with some acquaintances 7 years ago, I have never met such horrible, haughty and scornful people, same with Cannes. Perhaps the worst towns of France, I have ever been in.

but Provence and Avignon and the entire Luberon are my absolute favorite places on earth.

Provence is known for its beauty and its great wine. Avignon is a great place too. Luberon is fantastic. Alsace is also a great place as well as Toulouse and Biarritz

I rented a car in Paris and drove down through the luberon spending the night at wineries and Inns drinking incredible wine and having amazing meals. I spent 2 weeks until I finally got to Provence and that's where I really fell in love. I went to a vineyard that had a small restaurant where they made roast rabbit with potatoes and asparagus that was so incredible. the wine was endless and outrageously good. Breakfast would be a piece of this incredible french bread with Cabernet and sprinkled with sugar and cafe la creme by far the greatest trip of my life.

Provence is a wonderful region and people are great too. Alsacian Wineries are also a must see and they have great meals there too.
