spent the day out on the water with some friends skiing and tubing one of the best summer days I can ever remember. 90 degrees, slight breeze, flat water that was so clear. Had a blast! We headed back to my house where I had some special burgers I made last night 50% ground prime ribeye, 30% pork sausage and 20% ground chuck homemade mayo that had apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper, grilled vidalia onion, kosher dill slice, beefsteak tomato and melted Gouda cheese all sitting pretty on top of a french kaiser roll.
I have to say these photos of the meat as I was making the patties is awesome!
the sun was setting and the light was perfect so I grabbed the camera because I knew it would be a great photo! They turned out to be incredible. I grilled them on a cedar plank so no direct flame hit them.
