in DC El Campo is amazing. Smith & Wollensky is a great steakhouse even though it's a chain, the quality is top notch

but if you want something simple cheap awesome and classic to the city Ben's Chili Bowl is it. I went there twice last spring when I was in DC you'll thank me.

There seems to be no Welsh restaurants at all on this search. Only American and Irish stuff. Says a lot about the Welsh really. Not a country, a Principality, thus owned by England, well it was until recently.

as far as chicken goes.... Au Pied de Cochon Cabane et Sucre roasted chicken is baked with the entire inside filled with lobster bisque. they also have a stuffed chicken that is stuffed with a combo of homemade italian sausage, lobster and foie gras. fatty and bursting with flavor

I don't order chicken in restaurants because its a cop out dish. Its what people who don't know what to order pick most of the time. But I was with a group of people and this was part of the menu and it was crazy good.

The last week I've had best pork I've ever had three different times. It just keeps getting better!

This one was RIDICULOUS! slow cooked pernil (which is Puerto Rican slow cooked marinated pork shoulder) on a bed of cabbage over black rice and peanut sauce!


Traditional Pernil with apple cider vinegar hot sauce. OUTRAGEOUS!

mofongo is green plantains fried and then mashed with garlic and oil kinda like guacamole but with plantains instead of avocado.

this is a "Tripleta" which is the Puerto Rican version of a Cuban sandwich. but it has pernil (pork), marinated steak and chicken with lime mayo on a baguette that is then lathered in garlic butter and pressed til crispy

Just shot this on Tuesday and giving you guys a sneak peek at it. One of my favorite weekend getaways is Cedar Key. Only 95 minutes from my house and like no place else around. No commercial chains or anything and all fresh seafood. The clam capital of America and lives up to its reputation! great oysters too.

Yesterday was Sophia's 15th birthday. I got her at 7 weeks old what seems like a lifetime ago. She has flown over 100k miles with me. She is deaf and only has 1 eye and her feet don't work too well anymore, but she's going strong. I foresee a sweet 16 party for next February
