in DC El Campo is amazing. Smith & Wollensky is a great steakhouse even though it's a chain, the quality is top notch
but if you want something simple cheap awesome and classic to the city Ben's Chili Bowl is it. I went there twice last spring when I was in DC you'll thank me.

this is a "Tripleta" which is the Puerto Rican version of a Cuban sandwich. but it has pernil (pork), marinated steak and chicken with lime mayo on a baguette that is then lathered in garlic butter and pressed til crispy
