My most recent trip to Montreal was the best yet!

Spent an entire morning at Atwater Market

Some of the incredible meals I had while there...Joe Beef nearly every night!

homegrown radishes in white Hollandaise sauce with cracked black pepper & red chili pepper

Butter-poached lobster on grilled toast with black truffle shavings and eppoises Béchamel

I stayed in the Joe Beef Lodge above the restaurant - Awesome place reserved for family and friends. Anthony Bourdain was staying in the room next to me and Jimmy Kimmel had just checked out of the room in which I stayed the morning I arrived.

Nova Scotia Oysters - the BEST I've ever had in my life!

Smoked Prime Rib - Not rib roast like 99% of prime rib really is...this is dry-aged 90 days and smoked for 12 hours. Its like butter and is outrageous!

I think that this meal contains so much calories that when someone eats it he does not need anything else for two days!

When I was there Bruce Willis was having dinner. Last summer the Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were there for dinner. Joe Beef is one of the top rated restaurants in the world. People go to Montreal just to have dinner there. I grew up in LA and Im there every month since 2004. My entire family works in the studios. I happen to often be where celebrities hang out.

Now that I have this years holiday sorted, I could do with a heads up on some decent places to eat in Washington DC. Any ideas everyone?
