My all time favorite breakfast bibimbap traditional Korean meal served in a hot stone bowl that makes the rice into a crispy shell

Next time I would suggest getting some recommendations for places in NYC where the food doesn't suck.

for Thai go to Uncle Boon's. Its fucking AMAZING! without a doubt Momofuku Noodle bar. Everything is incredible. if you have 4 people do the fried chicken dinner.... its 2 fried chickens and all sides one korean style and the other marinated in buttermilk and then fried 3 times. its to die for. milk bar is the best desserts you'll have in your life. Go to Eataly which is an Italian market where you can have anything made for you there for no extra charge even the fresh pasta and old school NYC Carmine's on Broadway upper west side is great steakhouse. papaya king hot dogs is another one.

those are my places I visit whenever I'm there

The people are rude and always in a hurry and shitty service. Supposedly they have the best hot dogs. Not where I went. Ever smelled stagnant swamp water? That's how the hot dog tasted. I'll take Chicago food any day over NY.

Well, I removed all the bickering. So I'm hoping we're done with all that. I don't want the headache to be honest. :brick:

Back on the topic of food, guys.

Back on food...... A restaurant in Xi'an, China last week. Pig trotter stew, beef and potato, a sorry looking chicken and some greens. No-one in the restaurant spoke a word of English (to be expected) so my phone translator app was on overtime. Food was fantastic, cheap and the entire staff were given there first English lesson. They now know the meaning of 'large beer please'.

Chinese is the best food in the world. Super noms.

Not all their food is great. I came across these delicacies at a Beijing night market 10 days ago. Star fish, scorpions & cockroaches to name a few. Loads of people trying them and then just spitting it out. The floor & bins were full of discarded shit. I'm still picking scorpion bits out of my teeth now!

Yeah, no bugs for me. But every culture has something strange they eat. At least to other cultures!

I give you mad props if you tried the scorpion though. :pathead:

After two weeks on a diet of chinese food my first thought when I got back to the UK...... I must have a bacon butty. God it tasted good. I love chinese food just not everyday.
