Lost

im gonna hafta survive on house once a week

House and Prison Break fill the void for me, but I didn't know there was such a long gap between episodes. On the bright side I'll have more time to spend on freeones, lol.

You know, I used to really love this show, but I refuse to watch it now. ABC is playing everyone for fools in my opinion, and it's so obvious. This show should not run for any more than three seasons, maybe four, but the network is gonna milk it for every single drop.

First of all, I think the writers are changing the original story from when they first wrote it. The first example is that the character Henry Gale(don't remember his real name on the show, but the leader of the "others")was only supposed to be on the show for like three or four episodes, now he's one of the main characters in the plot.Second is the sudden departure of Mr. Eko. He claims that he wanted to spend time with his sick mother or something like that. Third, Micheal and Walt leaving was not in the original plot. Harold Perrineau decided to film the sequal to 28 Days Later. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall and jumped ship(no pun intended)before this shit starts spinning out of control.

I think ABC didn't expect this show to be this wildly popular so they told the producers to stretch it out for as long as they can. Now I have not watched a single episode this season, but a couple of people say that it has been lack luster so far. While I don't really know if this is true, I tend to believe them because of how slow season 2 was.

I will eventully watch it when season 3 is released on DVD,but I won't envests any more emotional energy into this show anymore. The thing that really pisses me off is that I championed this show early on, and now I think it's just as bad as American Idol as far as how they are playing their audience.

Actually, they've said all along that they intended for the show to go on about 5 seasons from what I've always heard.

I remember the producers saying they have it written for 5 seasons. Everything is suppose to be explained by the 5th season, if the show is still popular, they will extend the storyline out.

I just hope ABC doesnt pull a "X-Files" and drop the show before explaining shit.

Also, Michael and Walt leaving had to do with Michael doing other roles and his son aging to quick for the storyline. remember they have only been on the island for just over 2 months, but the show has been on for over 3 years. You cant stop the kid from aging.

Peace.

Well my personal opinion is that when the show finally ends,it will either be the best or worst series finale ever. I'm hoping for the best but I fear the worst.
And that's a very good point about Walt,Blackbull. I didn't even think of that.

I totally forgot about this thread.

I also just now remembered that the suvivors are being held in a zoo, that might explain the animals on the island.

also the way that micheal left the island was really lame. I mean it was intresteing to that story, but for the overall plot is really incosistant with all the other people not being able to get off the island, like desmond who trained for years in sailing.

Cool. A lost thread here. Cool.

Season 1+2 of LOST: Best televised drama I've ever seen. A perfect show.

Season 3: What the fuck? Is this the same show? I hate Season 3 and "The Others." They completely bore the shit out of me.

I have made it through the winter/spring hiatus by immersing myself in Battlestar Galactica (maybe best show on television) and Grey's Anatomy (not bad).

The best forum for LOST talk I've come across. Television Without Pity...the people on those boards..freaking genuises. I dig the "Bitterness Fiesta" thread..currently 620 pages! There's plenty of analysis and fanwank threads there too...but the critics on that site make it interesting.

I love LOST and will watch it until the end. I am just disappointed with Season 3 thus far.

Desmond must not have followed a heading of 325...

I think Desmond went in a big circle, the same as Walt and Michael.

Walt and michael might return season end.

I think the the mystery dude with the eye patch and walt/michael returning will give us some answers to what the fuck is going on. Most likely that wont happen ro season finale to keep you hooked for next season.

Peace.

Hmm, I like season 3 so far. The inclusion of The Others, giving them a face and a story, has done a lot for the urgency and tension of the overall storyline. I agree some things need to be explained at some point, but for now, I'm loving the show more than I did during season 2.

Looking forward to episode 7 already!
