Lost

cheech looked old.....

now my little input for the episode.....
how much shit can happen to just one person in a short amount of time?
hurley won the lottery, grandpaps dies of a heart attack, moms house burns down, his new business gets blown to smithereens (not by fire or explosion) but by a meteor crashing into the building!!!! So not only does his new business get destroyed but he also witnesses a meteor crash! then he's on a plane that explodes and crashes on an island.....the stories are starting to get really far fetched.
that much shit doesn't happen to one person, that is way too much.
i know it's a show and i will keep watching but it is getting just a little too obsurd now

Ever heard about science fiction? You didnt noticed yet that the show is about supernatural?

How much bad stuff can happen to one person....

That's the whole point of Hurley's storyline. This is why he believes he's cursed.

And the show is not science fiction. It does not fit the genre. The only thing that might be science fictiony, might be, is the black smoke, and we don't know that because we don't know what it is. Everthing that the show has done, has had a reasonable answer. It is Fiction, yes, so some strange stuff is going on, but in no way is it sci-fi. Supernatural, if that's even the case, does not equal sci-fi.

Next week they bringing in the guy with the eye patch. hopefully more shit will be explained. this last episode was pointless.

Peace.

A guy who can see the future, numbers that bring some kind of curse, strange black smoke, weird/unreal stuff happening, etc... = Supernatural

Yeah, I also don't think Lost is science fiction, but I was just trying to say that this show is supernatural, so its very normal if weird stuff happens...

it was funny watching them get drunk off of dharma project beer and drive that van.. but otherwise yeah, totally pointless. It was just hurley cursed/ hurley builds golf course episodes revisited. Not that I don't like a lighthearted/gettting back to the survivers just dealing with life on the island episode... but now is a really bad time to take a break from the action when viewer intrest is hanging by a thread. I am happy that they are finally going to attempt the rescue mission, which I think should have been done in episode two or three of the season, but oh well. Eye patch man next week ahs me interested.

i totally agree that the last episode was a total waste of time. no one cared about that stupid car idea throughout the whole show, both the people on the island and us at home. who cares if the van or his car in the flashback worked, it is a car. besides, with the lotto winnings why didn't hurly just buy the parts to his car or buy a brand new car. i am seriously starting to lose patience with lost. i was one of those people who said they would stay through all the bad episodes just to get the pay. next week better be better.

is it just me ? why do i think the episodes with Sayed flashbacks are the best ones? i loved this past episode but John Locke i think has A.D.D.
it's like " hey john we knocked out this guy,we are sure he is one of the "others",we are going to take a look around to see if there are any clues or anything we can find useful, Keep an eye on him since he is now our prisoner"
John, "ok no problem i'll watch him......ooohh a video game, i want to play,i want to play!!"

the last episode was amazing...

i agree that sayid flashbacks are some of the best ones, i like sawyers too.
locke is starting to grow on everyone in a bad bad way, i thought for sure, that when he typed 77 the shack was going to blow up, however, i then realized that kate was inside too, which really wouldnt make any sense whatsoever to the plot if she died.
looking forward to the next few episodes.

I've heard that we are supposed to find out how Locke ended up in the wheelchair. I thinks it's coming episode after next.

Locke is a idiot. I had respect for him early on, but losing faith in him.

This last episode was good. It looks like the storyline is coming together.

Peace.

I have to take a moment to gloat...

Wait, I don't follow. Who's twisted? The prisoner, or Locke?

The other thing that caught my eye was when Jack's father went to that woman's house wanting to see his daughter, just how much that woman looked like Claire. Wouldn't it be wild if Jack and Claire were half brother and sister? I find it pretty doubtful, but as inter-weaved as everyone in this show is, it could be...

I called it!!!:nanner:

Another great episode tonight. I can NOT wait for next week! I've been waiting for the answers about Locke since the beginning of the show!

yeah, it was really predictable, but at least they finally gave some kind of real concrete reolsution to an issue on the show. I don't want to speak too soon, but it looks like maybe this season might have a halfway chance of pulling it's head out of its ass and getting something done by the finale.

Claires dad is cheech marin and the father of her baby is john locke who was paralized when he was shot by sawyer and her baby is desmond who travled back in time to end up on the island. That's my prediction anyway.
