A GOP majority can refuse to fund it. If it couldn't be overturned then Harry Reid wouldn't have felt the need to include a clause in the senate bill that says that it cannot be. Which is unconstitutional BTW and will be challenged in the courts.
Yes, I would say it was "crammed."
http://politics.newsvine.com/_quest...e-overhaul-are-you-excited-or-angry?GT1=43001
These are results from a poll from MSNBC (liberal biased media mind you) and the statistics don't lie. 22% of Americans are excited about the new health care while 54% are angry. I would consider it "crammed" when the majority of the population are against it.
I have never really felt a need to vote until now.
Let's see, I could have voted for Bush.......meh.
How about Gore?.......meh.
Maybe McCain?........meh.
But one thing I'm certain of, Obama and his pals have to go. Our economy is already screwed up enough and this health care is a joke.

Well expect to see a lot of folks in office kicked out in November now. As well as Obama getting canned come 2012.
Hot Mega said:Our health care is the best in the world
Our health care is the best in the world because we have most of the best doctors and facilities.
Universal healthcare=socialism+communism+facism+forced euthanesia=not good. That's basically the way most Americans think. America is the only civilised western country where people die because they can't afford healthcare and all some of you do is bitch and moan. It shows the true American way, me, me, me and fuck the rest. No wonder America is in such a sorry state.
Repeating it over and over doesn't make it true.

This guy explains how those rankings were found:

Read what I said, (health care) not our system. Our "health care" (facilities, treatments, technology, Docs, etc.) is the best. How it works to the benefit of our people isn't.
Turns out that's not quite correct, either. Sorry. Read the articles posted above.
The US doesn't have the best docs, emergency care, technology, treatment and facilities? Show me where you have something that says that....
The main thing I take from studies and believe is that while we have all that, our system isn't the most efficient nor does it yield results consistent with those facts.
So, America was the only industrialized nation not to have socialized medicine, but what's the state of the economy for all other industrialized nations that do provide it? Their economies are not doing that well from last I heard. Look at Greece (which is a snapshot of where we are heading) and Spain, then again, the UK, Canada, how is their economy? Most third world nations do offer it. Mexico, my native country, is one example. How is it's economy? NOBODY is against some kind of reform, but it's got to be done responsibly. Would I favor some sort of government provided healthcare? If there is the money to pay for it without raising taxes, yes, and the way to do it is to get the economy really working. Our economy is not doing well and with a redistributionist in the oval office is not going to do well in the foreseable future. We need someone who understands how the free market works and not someone who knows how it works but only to try to destroy it. When we are told to "get used to" above 10% unemployment, that does not give me a good vibe.
Get the economy going first then when the money is really coming into the government coffers, then some kind of program can be started. Start with something small, with emergency care paid for by the government for accidents or sudden illnesses for people without insurance. And by emergency care I'm talking about accidents, heart attacks, strokes, appendectomies, things that are life threatening, not just a little sore throat that can be treated by a family doctor for the exhorbitant price of $80.
Anyway, now I got to start making some arrangements. I WILL NOT be forced or bullied into buying health insurance and I WILL NOT pay any fine whatsoever, even if it's only $1. What do you think will happen to someone who does what I plan, well, not to do? I am ready to become America's first political prisoner but I really hope that will not be necesary.
Why aren't you enjoying newlywed bliss and not posting here?
I've enjoyed newlywed bliss so much I'm a little sore now :love-smi:  And believe it or not but life is the same once you're married. The dishes still have to be done, clothes have to be washed and dinner has to be made.

Well, as the W.H.O.'s evaluation included an evaluation of all of the elements you mentioned, and the U.S. didn't achieve top marks in any of them, I believe I already have shown you something that says that. Read a little deeper.
Could you show me anything that explicitly states that an international organisation evaluated top health care systems in the world and say that the U.S. has the best docs, emergency care, technology, treatment and facilities?
Further, if they are the best, why do friends of mine have to go out of the country for treatments being done in other countries by doctors trained there? The docs here don't necessarily have the finest training, and saying they do seem to me (my opinion) quite a short sighted thing to say. Do you believe, for example, that American doctors are the best when it comes to treating stomach parasites found in India? No. That would be ridiculous. If someone in the United States comes down with a seemingly impossible to cure stomach parasite, the good doctors here would not hesitate to call on their Indian counterparts for help. Why? because the Indian doctors are better? No. They simply have more experience in the area.
American doctors are excellent. There is an excellent medical education system here. Saying they are clearly the best doctors in the world is ridiculous.
But that's my $0.02, and I'm soon to leave this thread, as I don't believe there are discussions happening here. Just opinions.
FWIW

Only stands to reasoning that the World's best hospitals would consistently have the best Docs, technology, facilities, etc.
:2 cents:
Again, if you read your own links they relate to statistical results, not quality ranking.
