Jewish groups slam Arizona immigration law

Anyone in cahoots with Hellraisin, stand up and holla... Jews bla bla blaaaa!
So some Liberal standard Demotard Jewish groups with less than a 1% representational share of American Jews stand up and join the other lame Demotards (Napolitano, Holder, etc) who haven't read the bill but just know what to tell the Demotard Zombie Army what it means...
So far no one has pointed out anything obviously Unconstitutional in the Bill...not even one specific passage.
All parts of the bill are already standard constitutionally approved processes like reasonable suspicion (after committing an illegal action) to enable further ID checking.
No one can legally be accosted without some other illegal action precipitating a Police contact.
Obama punked ya'll with his Adios Amigo comment...no one intelligent fell for that stupidity 'cept the usual Otrauma minions.

Keep in mind Hellraisin is fixated on NeoCons (even though he doesn't have a clue what that is) and now he's overposting on his newest fixation -"Jews"...three stupid pointless threads so far, maybe there's more.
Millions of Jews could care less about Arizona's law, except to wish Arizona luck with fixing that overflow of illegals.
Someone tell Jewhater meesterperfect that Israel hasn't weighed in on the Arizona Law, at all...what the fuck do American Jewish Liberal orgs have to do with Israel?
Jews have a high percentage of Democrats traditionally...why is it a surprise that there are lots of UberLibs in the fringe?:dunno:

oh boy, not gonna get into this again, too deep.
but what is it with you and jews?
if anybody says anything thats not pro jew you call them a hater.
I don't know why.

different rules for different groups or what?
some groups are forbidden and immune to critisize or question?
I don't follow those rules.

you say isreal hasn't weighed in on the subject, ok.
according to the article many jewish groups have.
An array of Jewish groups

you don't see a connection or at least a relation, i do.

but the article is pretty brief and non specific so fuck it.

huh.
isreal, isn't that the country that hundreds of thousands of non jews died for to give them?
isn't that the country that millions of non jews suffered and sacrificed to get them?
isn't that the country where you must be jewish to live in, otherwise, bye, get out, have a negeela.
man , talk about people in glass houses.

you HAVE to be Jewish to live in Israel? aren't there many Christians and Muslims in Israel too? being the territory that owns Jerusalem, i find that statement to be incorrect

No...and I think incorrect is a bit unspecifc. I would prefer to describe that as ...Bullshit.
Everyone 'cept meesterperfect seems to know that millions of Christians, Muslims, and Druse (etc) live in Israel...the Muslim population has it's own reps in the Knesset (parliament).
EDIT: As you said, "Do not tell them though", in an open forum; I take the freedom to delete the line in totality.
I can see the guys swapping their Terrorist Trading Cards with each other online...:D

I got some new terrorist trading cards today, I got a collection of the very worst terrorists to ever live, I mean the real baddies, Benjamin Netanyahu, Ariel Sharon, Ehud Olmert, Tzipi Livni, David Ben Gurion, Yitzhak Rabin, Yitzhak Shamir, Golda Meir, Menachem Begin, Shimon Peres,... since I started collecting Israeli terrorsists I started to realize how poor my collection really is, there are just soooo many terrorists and war criminals in this Israeli set, I dont think Ill ever be able to collect them all, it will take years to complete this set as there are 10s of thousands of these terrorists, its so much easier collecting muslim terrorists as there are so few, you can complete your collection quite quickly.

You live in a world where Jews and the Israeli terror state can do no wrong, where everyone else is to blame. A world where Jews are superior to all non Jews, a world where it is illegal for a non Jew to question or criticise a Jew. A world where there is a different set of laws for Jews and non Jews. You are a brainwashed Jew who drinks every drop of kool aid the Jewish power elites give you. You ignore the views of your free thinking kinsmen, and dismiss them as nazis, even though they are also Jews, and actually much smarter than you. At least you are loyal to your tribe, a real jewish nationalist hard liner. Death to everyone else! Only Jews deserve to Live! A jewish finger nail is worth more than a million non Jewsih lives! Long Live the Jews, Death to gentiles, We were persecuted, so now we will persecute everyone else! We are the new Nazis, Hiel Hebrew!!!!

God forbid ...

God forbid if you commit a crime you have to prove you're a citizen. Do people even bother to read the law and the real statistics in Arizona that caused it?

Okay people, this is getting out-of-hand. Fuck anyone who is against the law, I'm 100% for it! I wish they'd pass it in Florida and Texas too.

It's great to see diverse groups of people coming together to speaking out the racist police state immigration laws in Arizona. :)

An array of Jewish groups expressed their dismay at the passage of Arizona’s restrictive new immigration enforcement law.

“The Jewish community has long called on our national leaders to reform our immigration laws to ‘welcome the stranger’ and to create an effective federal immigration system characterized by the rule of law and the humane treatment of newcomers,” the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society said in a statement after Republican Gov. Jan Brewer signed the law Friday afternoon.

HIAS went on to say that the governor’s signing of the measure “not only threatens the necessary trust between police and their communities, but the decision also betrays the proud history of a nation built by immigrants.”

The new law requires that police check the immigration status of anyone suspected of being an illegal immigrant. Civil liberties groups, including many Jewish groups, say the law effectively mandates racial profiling.

Other Jewish groups registering their protests included the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, the Anti-Defamation League and the Simon Wiesenthal Center.

Rabbis from five Reform congregations in Arizona also joined to write to Brewer.

I wonder how many of these people support Israel and it's immigration and citizenship laws.

fact is before jews go around bitching about yet another thing, in this case the immigration bill, they should look at their own country first, with probably the strictest immigration laws around.
its a perfect example of hypocrisy.

now call me jew hater some more.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the folks in question are NOT Israelis, they are American Jews.
They are, however erroneously, looking at their own country. Your unhealthy fixation with the "Jewish Menace" is warping what little cognitive abilities you have left...

Hmmm not when Jewish Americans contribute millions to Israel and groups that seek to discourage inter-marriage between jews and non-jews because it would dilute the jewish people.

YET Jewish lawmakers want this country flooded with illegals, and the Jewish-American community largely votes in lawmakers who want the government to continue it's state of non-action on the issue of immigration.

The funny thing is that this free-for-all immigration policy has lead to an increase in cohesion among the U.S. Muslim population, which is now challenging their stranglehold on U.S. foreign policy on the Israel-Palestine situation.

You are a very hateful person.

Don't know, don't care and it's not relevant to my response to C/S. The legal opposition to AZ's anti-illegal immigration law is on the basis that it may be unconstitutional. If that's found in court to be the case...it doesn't matter what the popular support is for it.

I thought I explained this to you once. Oh..that was will e.... Easy to confuse you two.:o

There is no way that they find this law unconstitutional. Article VI of the same Constitution you're talking about should shed some light here...

Article VI
All debts contracted and engagements entered into, before the adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.

This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding.

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.
http://topics.law.cornell.edu/constitution/articlevi

Seeing as "Aliens and Nationality - 8 USC Title 8" (http://law.onecle.com/uscode/8/index.html) and more specifically "8 USC Section 1304" (http://law.onecle.com/uscode/8/1304.html) is federal law, and has been since 1940, it is "a law of the United States... made in pursuance [of the Constitution], under the authority of the United States, [and is] the supreme law of the land," so designated by the same Constitution that you bring up so frequently.

So, as seen in this case, the AZ law overlaps an already existing, longstnading federal law which is considered, by that same Constitution, the "supreme law of the land." Therefore, there is no basis for a challenge on the grounds of constitutionality, as any state law that overlaps a federal law is, by default, constitutionally sound.

My understanding is that Article VI has nothing to do with the constitutional challenge that this new law may represent. From everything that I read, the intent is to challenge it as being unconstitutional under the 4th amendment which states:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Proponents of the challenge assert that without a probable cause provision, this law is unconstitutional. I'm no legal scholar but something tells me they may be correct. We'll see.

Provisions

The act makes it a state misdemeanor crime for an alien to be in Arizona without carrying registration documents required by federal law,[1]:§ 3 and obligates police to make an attempt, when practicable, to determine a person's immigration status if there is reasonable suspicion that the person is an illegal alien[1]:§ 2 during a "lawful stop, detention or arrest made by a law enforcement official."[22] Police may arrest a person if there is probable cause that the person is an alien not in possession of required registration documents;[1]:§ 3 a person arrested cannot be released without confirmation of the person's legal immigration status by the federal government pursuant to § 1373(c) of Title 8 of the United States Code. A first offense carries a fine of up to $100, plus court costs, and up to 20 days in jail; subsequent offenses can result in up to 30 days in jail[23] (in the original senate version, a minimum fine of $500 for a first violation, and for a second violation a minimum $1,000 fine and a maximum jail sentence of 6 months).[1]:§ 5 A person is "presumed to not be an alien who is unlawfully present in the United States" if he or she presents any of the following four forms of identification: (a) a valid Arizona driver license; (b) a valid Arizona nonoperating identification license; (c) a valid tribal enrollment card or other tribal identification; or (d) any valid federal, state, or local government-issued identification, if the issuer requires proof of legal presence in the United States as a condition of issuance.[1]:§ 2
The law also prohibits state, county, or local officials from limiting or restricting "the enforcement of federal immigration laws to less than the full extent permitted by federal law" and provides that Arizona citizens can sue such agencies or officials to compel such full enforcement.[1]:§ 2[10] A private citizen who prevails in such a lawsuit may be entitled to reimbursement of reasonable attorney fees and court costs.[1]:§ 2
In addition, the law makes it a crime for anyone, regardless of citizenship or immigration-status, to hire or to be hired from a vehicle which "blocks or impedes the normal movement of traffic." Vehicles used in such manner are subject to mandatory impounding. Moreover, "encourag[ing] or induc[ing]" illegal immigration, giving shelter to illegal immigrants, and transporting or attempting to transport an illegal alien, either knowingly or while "recklessly" disregarding the individual's immigration-status,[1]:§ 5 will be considered a class 1 criminal misdemeanor if fewer than ten illegal immigrants are involved, and a class 6 felony if ten or more are involved. The offender will be subject to a fine of at least $1,000 for each illegal alien so transported or sheltered.[1]:§ 5

Probable cause?
Loitering?
Jaywalking?
you fit the description of a wanted person.
You name it.
Hell, with at least a half million illegals in just one state, I would think just being Mexican is probable cause..........and who's fault is that?
If your out in public, not in your private domicile, probable cause is anything the police want.
That pertains to anybody.
the question is how far will the police take this?

Basically you need to have an ID on your person, if you don't then you must be able to produce one.... which I thought was already a law for adults everywhere.

And did I miss the word "deportation" in that law?

We'll see.

I understand that concept, but even on those grounds, the law, IMO, will stand up against challenges to its constitutionality until Section 11 B-C of the law is violated or otherwise improperly adhered to. Granted, the adjudication of this law will be tricky, but nonetheless, until there are specific cases/examples of people's 4th amendment rights being violated there is, IMO, no basis for a challenge of constitutionality as the wording of the bill seems to, at the outset, provide for measures to ensure that this does not happen.

See: Sec. 11. Severability, implementation and construction (Subsections B-C)
http://www.azleg.gov/legtext/49leg/2r/bills/sb1070s.pdf

Probable cause, which is defined as:
...when "the facts and circumstances within the arresting officer's knowledge are sufficient to warrant a prudent person to believe that a suspect has committed, is committing, or is about to commit a crime... When there are grounds for suspicion that a person has committed a crime or misdemeanor, and public justice and the good of the community require that the matter should be examined, there is said to be a probable cause for, making a charge against the accused, however malicious the intention of the accuser may have been. And probable cause will be presumed till the contrary appears." United States v. Hoyos, 892 F.2d 1387, 1392 (9th Cir. 1989)
is so loosely termed in its wording that even the lack of a driver's license, or any type of identification can be construed as "sufficient to warrant a prudent person to believe that a suspect has commited a crime..." especially if the suspected crime is an immigration violation. Whether that "probable cause" is rational or not, I'm willing to bet that a LE Officer's judgement (even if it is skewed or ultimately perceived as "profiling") will be given deference, therefore removing any argument based upon the 4th amendment. And in actuality, all the AZ legislature will have to do to avoid this challenge is amend the bill to contain a specific reference to probable cause somewhere convenient in Section 2 (Actually, Section 9, Subsection C of AZ SB 1070 already mentions probable cause, but that section deals specifically with removal and immobilization or impoundment of vehicles). But, as with anything else, we will have to wait and see.
