I've heard rumors of people getting kicked out of hot dog joints for asking for ketchup, though I'm not sure if this is true.
I go with a dressed down version of the Chicago style dog: mustard, relish, onions, pickle, poppy seed bun, celery salt. I leave out the tomatos and peppers.
