How do you do that? I've seen vids and found a program to make em, but still it was for the computer. And it was a pain in the ass!

You have to burn the tabs to a cd, and have a special thingy for the ps2 to be able to play it, i think.

damn it people links!!!! What tabs you speak of? Like tablature tabs or something different???

You have to burn the game to your computer first. Then download a program called GHex.
In this you can either create or import an already existing midi chart (there are tons of premade songs) and import the sound file and sync it with the midi. This process takes a lot of time to write over every song.
Then you have to burn it onto a DVD at a slow write speed.

For the system you can either do a case mod with booting software, or get a modchip so the system recognizes backups.

A good place for info is http://www.scorehero.com in the forums there. There are a bunch of walkthroughs there (and all of the song charts).

Damn, so I gotta spend a bunch of money and time?
Shit :(

Uh, in case you haven't heard, Guitar Hero 3 is already out, and that's just a bullshit list someone put out to piss people off. Don't worry, they're not gunna sell out to Hanna Montana...

I think the game is awesome, totally immersive and fantastic fun, i personally love playing the cheesy old soft rock shit. But i too would love a bit more in the way of downloadable content especially if its free.

9/10

You know it doesn't have to be all hardcore heavy metal for the downloads. But a nice variety other that shit would be nice!

Yeah, from what i have seen, its very time consuming and wallet draining.

Not terribly expensive yet, but then they need to start releasing some good DL content first! But it is time consuming!

i asked the guy at my local video game store (gamestop) he said you can turn the guitar upside down but they don't make a lefty model!?
so who is right. i don't want to turn the guitar upside down because the whammy bar will be in the way right?

Unless there is an aftermarket guitar avaliable that I don't know about, the only thing leftys can do is flip the guitar. I'm surprised there isn't a lefty version avaliable since the game supports lefty play.

That shit just ain't natural. Yea it is the hardest song in the game by far. But the hardest normal song IMO at least is Raining Blood

As for the lefty thing. I've not seen a lefty controller. All you can do is flip the guitar and it works just fine. I'm sure you'd get used to the whammy bar. It's not in the way, just a little inconvenient to use is all! I've played both ways.

You really should get this game!

I'm just about to finish the last 10 songs or so after playing it extremely much the last month.
Overall, it's a great game. The best in the series so far at least.

The song list was a bit disappointing though. I expected more genuine guitar rock music like Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. And I don't like how the game emphasizes more on speed and mashing than rhythm, melody and style.
The hardest songs in the game are the metal songs, which is a bit delusive. They should implement compulsory slides and make the songs more realistic instead.

And I really don't see the point in having so little content. Just implement more of the stereotype guitar classics and even the songs from the old games so one can play what one wants to listen to.

To sum it up, this game is definitely worth the money. But is it flawless? No, not by far. I would rate this game 7/10 and hoping the fourth game will be everything a rock guitar simulator should be.
