FreeOnes Board Voting Bloc

I find it ironic a certain OCSM complains about something she has become the grand master in, and that's why she is near the top and ruins almost every contest she has been in. Last years Miss FreeOnes contest, and a very notable Booble contest come to mind. (And she only lost last year because she was beaten by somebody at her own game that was even worse.)

Unlike many other high profile OCSMs it seems like she post a lot but most of it's marketing either her or somebody else she's affiliated with, sometimes shamelessly.

Small world! I cut my teeth on this racket covering a Booble vote.

Along with the other stuff I posted earlier I think two other things might be needed. One would be besides the OCSM's threads they aren't allowed to post video or pictures in a thread about the contest more than three times per week. The second would be hard to enforce so the punishment would have to be very severe if caught like disqualification from the contest and permanent banning from the messagebord, but I would have it so each contestant is only allowed one link outside of the FreeOnes site directing their fans to the contest anywhere on the Internet.

This is supposedly for the purpose of making it more centralized (the contest is here, not all over the internet) and easier to navigate (less clogging in the main threads), right?

WE are the ones who post here. WE are the ones who spend our time here. WE are the ones who interact here. WE are the various pieces that make this board work.

Yet, for the Miss FreeOnes contest, WE are getting pushed aside and outvoted by outsiders from other sites who only support a person and could care less about OUR board and OUR participation. This board is a FreeOnes board for FreeOnes members, and Miss FreeOnes is and should be OUR contest. Understandably, we don't always get along, vote the same, or have the same tastes, but I am certain that we would all rather have a winner that cares about their fans, posting here, and interaction than someone who doesn't. I propose that, if necessary in the Final Round, we all stand and vote together to ensure that, in every category, one of OUR contestants wins.

I find less than one percent of the girls in FreeOnes are not going into marketing, publicity, advertisements etc. and purely coming into Freeones just to interact with fans and 99 percent coming here for promoting their website.

It is beginning to piss me off that I have to vote later and later each day. If you are busy at your normal voting time, the new time that you vote is carried through to the following day. It must be far simpler just to reset all vote counters at the same time each day than to track the time that each vote way made by each person to reset that each day.
And if some programmer disagrees with me, that person should not be put anywhere near a keyboard. I speak from 30+ years of programming experience.

You're the one who started this argueing : Rizwano sais that we should all vote for Miss Hybrid and then you started telling you've been on the board for 4 years, and have 4.000 post, etc.

I can't believe I think it is necessary to have to come here and warn people, but considering a OCSM has threatened to leave the Board I think I should. Miss Vette, and every other OCSM, has the right to come on the Board and campaign for Miss FreeOnes. It has been stated several times that Miss FreeOnes is not a contest for the Board, but for anyone who uses FreeOnes. Cut the crap, people.

I don't think that anyone can really complain about the campaigning. I have to say that in the previous competition the contrived nature of some of it started getting me down. Eva Angelina was initially one of my votes, until it became very obvious that she was not even posting her tweets - there was just an automated message that appeared with the same phrase several times a day. This to me indicated someone not at all interested in the competition itself.

It should also be obvious to all, who actually runs and promotes their own site - Vicky, Mariah, Miss Hybrid all spring to mind. All of these ladies are here, not JUST to promote their sites (but of course that must be part of the reason), but also to interact with their fans. They enjoy it. They enjoy being told how great they look, how they feature in our fantasies. It makes them feel good. It is affirming. The fact that Vicky and Mariah get annoyed with some people on here surely back this up. Why get upset if you do not care about what people think of you?
