FreeOnes Board Voting Bloc

I agree with the nature of strategic voting but it can only be used as a campaign to get to the finals. 3 votes for 6 categories is all we get. We can't support them all. Some models and categories will end up in the wash. We don't know the vote counts so we don't know how many votes from machines are pushing which models into a lead that can't be caught. Unlike past years, I will not reveal my support. I'll do that after the finals with my honest opinion and Sunday morning quarterbacking.

I apologize if the following doesn't have much to do with the nature of this thread. So with that out of the way..

I think the Miss FreeOnes competition is a perfectly, imperfect system. In other words, there are changes that could be adopted but these could damage the integrity of the system as a whole. Personally, I do feel that the OCSMs deserve to be recognized above the other contestants for the simple (yet perhaps unfair fact) that they do find the time to interact among members here and have a prescence. As a first time voter, the categories that matter most to me are Miss FreeOnes, Best Newcomer and Best OCSM. Am I bias by stating I would like to see these titles won by OCSMs? Of course. I'd be content to see a clean sweep of all the awards in a similar fashion.

Part of me thinks just like the FO members get extra voting power, it seems only fair that the OCSMs in all the categories (minus OCSM) should get "voted" power based on similar criteria (number of posts, length of time they've been an OCSM etc.) I know this would give the OCSMs an unfair advantage in the competition and therefore could not be done but I wouldn't be against it if this was the case. For non members or performers who would cry foul, well there is nothing stopping them from becoming members and OCSMs themselves. I think even the OCSMs who almost exclusively post only in their respective favourite babe threads deserve recognition because they are still contributing to FreeOnes. Obviously you can't expect every single performer out there to become an OCSM as interacting with fans on Twitter, Facebook and perhaps even MySpace in itself is a full time gig. I don't use Twitter but when I peruse some Twitter feeds, it is remarkable how many fans get an acknowledgement in between all the tweets from websites or twitter groups to even spam. Then again, every OCSM here who has Twitter deals with this as well and they respond to fans on here too so as the old saying goes; even when there is not enough time in the day, you have to make time. Easier said then done I know. No one can tell me there is enough time to study throughout the day unless I want to stop sleeping all together.

Okay before I get off my soapbox, I wanted to ask some of the longer tenured members if there have been performers who have become OCSMs after the Miss FreeOnes competition, particularly in relation to their success from it? We have new performers joining us everyday and we have OCSMs who come back to interact to coincide with the Miss FreeOnes competition before vanishing again but I was curious to know who has come aboard to join us on here in part because of the Miss FreeOnes competition. I'm including those who have come and gone so it doesn't have to be just current OCSMs. Some of the posts I enjoy seeing the most are those between OCSMs, particularly ones that offer encouragement or suggestions to help one another become even more successful. I know virtually all of the OCSMs do this and I know it goes beyond the forums but if I could single out one person who I feel has done this more often than not, it's Mandy Flores. The number of times I have seen her take the initiative and offer herself to guide and assist others speaks volumes of how considerate and genuinely lovely a person she is. Like any profession out there, there is a certain degree of cutthroat required to get recognized or stand out so I can only imagine how prevalent that is in this industry. Where hardcore performers, cam girls, fetish artists and everything in between have to work together as well as against one another.

So yeah, I have all but given up that new year's resolution of being more concise. Guess I'll push it to next year again. Good luck to all those who made it to round 3!

Al, thank you for that, I just do what I do, and I'm very blessed and love to see other ladies succeed as well! Thank you again! :)
