My point was more to the fact that on this forum, there are often a lot of threads that appear that I find quiet interesting, and the follow on has lead me to quiet a few sites that I otherwise wouldn't have known about, ie a few of the photographic threads, news items, current affairs, stats etc. From an number of other sites that I use, various topics are discussed, and one of them quiet nicely sums up it's policy as "treat this as the forum owners front room." So if you in their house, how would you conduct yourself?
That gets me onto forum etiquette. Rep and post counts don't measure what some one has to say. If you look at my previous posts and you'll see that the majority of my posts are more than just a few words and offer a description, or an explanation or an argument rather than a "she's hot" or "I'd fuck her." I could easily spam half the site, knock up a load of threads with "yeah" and "too right" and get my post count up as much as I like but I don't. Why should I? Back to the "treat it like your friends front room," you'd prefer to be though of as the person with some intelligence rather than the jerk who just shouts out short phrases wouldn't you? Right??
My aperant beef with SBTNW then, isn't that I don't like him etc etc as I don't know who he is, but imagine that going to your friends front room idea again. Imagine walking in through that door and seeing that person again who last time you thought just contributed empty noise. Thats how I feel when I see SBTNW either on the thread starter section or a whole line of last posts from each thread tagged SBTNW. I would much prefer to read a couple of threads that have some information in them and an explain view point (Prof Vol is good at it, as are quiet a lot of the people who have posted in political threads, threads on guns, war, crime, current affairs, or explain not why they thought a film was good but explained what made it good for them).
To see someone just posting one line etc or another thread that I view as just benign or trivial or something a 14 year old comes up with is just annoying and pushes other interesting threads further down.
I'm not intending to flame here, as I know there are quiet a few others that are just as guilty, but post count doesn't equal quality or anything worth saying.

It is not very well put together.
Also,there are a few spelling mistakes(for example,you meant to write "quite" but wrote "quiet" a couple of times).
Damn,if I were writing such big posts,I would pay attention to such things,so people could understand what I am saying.
As for SBTNW,I haven`t really done my homework on that,so forgive me if what I am going to say is wrong:
I haven`t ever considered him a spammer that just posts stupid comments(I notice such people and,you are right,there are quite a few of them(not to name any)).
I have seen him post good links many times and have not particularly noticed him spamming anytime(again,I am sorry if I am wrong,that is my current impression of him,that he does some solid work,amongst other things).
In the Talk section,I know he opens many threads that are far from being the worse.
I do not spend so much time here as you talkies to be able to judge if his threads are "pointless","stupid" or that there are too many of them,nor do I feel I should do that.
The proliferation of his threads and the pointlessness of his threads(your words guys,not mine) was brought to my attention via public opinion here.
In my opinion,that is not at all the case(again,I do not feel fit to judge or evaluate this since I am not a frequent talkie,this is not my territory).
The reason I said what I said about you,youwanttoshasgme,is that I feel that you are just jumping on the "Everyone Against SBTNW" bandwagon.
I am generally against such things.
(Far from me defending SBTNW or what he does(not my bussiness) or me feeling like some kind of protector)
