Eminem

Eminem is really the only rap artist I would actually buy albums from.
I like everything he has done besides Infinite and Recovery.
Relapse was great imo but the new album sounds like all the other garbage out there.

What exactly makes anyone a "fanboy" by claiming his career peaked? Your insult doesn't really make any sense.

Listen, bitches...

I am not going to deny that the guy is talented. Anyone saying he isn't is a fucktard. However, his best work is behind him. He's never going to recapture the brilliance of his early career.

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
He's talented he had his moment in the sun, but vastly overrated these days.

So basically there are 4 people on this thread:

1. The ones who don't care for him.
2. The ones who only kinda like him, or only like his earlier stuff. :dunno:
3. The sensitive, overly defensive fanboys who can't deal with someone not loving him as much as that person does. :weeping::rubbel::sleep:
4. The few who, while are fans, can refrain from pouting and accept reality.

Guy can spit, but he's heavy commercial. Earned all his money trashing pop stars then he mellowed down and spoke mainly bout his white trash existence. If it wasn't for Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera I'm not sure he would have had any early material. Very annoying voice, in my opinion, too. Despite his skill, I could never get past his whiney voice. But he has good connects, and while he's aging, can still deliver live (he just looked too old next to Rihanna @ Grammys though ... lol and then there was Dre, rofl ... nothing funnier than an old rapper, like an old punk, just doesn't work). Just my honest opinion.

Laugh if you will, but I like Jay-Z, Mos Def, Snoop Dogg, and Tupac Shakur, as far as big name--sometimes heavy commercial (especially Snoop, guy is a total whore)--rappers. Just based on their voice, connects, ability to spit, all that. And aside from Snoop, the other three have (had) the ability to go deep, a lot deeper than I've ever heard MM go, lyrics wise.

Man, I just watched that Grammy's performance - awesome stuff. I stopped watching those awards shows after one too many show where they'd bring out Puff Daddy and he'd do his lame shit over some fucking Police song or some crap and that would be the hip-hop performance of the night. But Rihanna, Eminem, that Skyar girl and Dr Dre rocked that place with a seriously good performance - gave me chills!

Well, looks like Suge Knight wasn't lying about that when he said it over a decade ago.:dunno:

^^^ALL HAIL MASTODON!!!

As far as Eminem, I really didn't care for him after his first album. Too much whining about his mom and wife. I much prefer Slim Shady over Marshall Mathers.
