AFK..being taken to the vet to get neutered.
Won't the real Slim Shady please stand up?

IMO, Eminem is a phenomenal talent (and I really, really don't like rap) and, one damn smart cookie to boot. He persevered. He conquered through perseverance, which is the differnece between:

A massively talented and smart musician, who's now not only one of the biggest stars in the world, but a cultural bench mark.

and

A massively talented and smart musician, who now works in a bank and plays in a Metallica cover band once a month or, as and when the harpy he married, and the incubi he sired, let him.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
Em's first two albums were by far my favorite. I bought the third and was somewhat disappointed. I really haven't listened to him since.

^ Same here. Everyone and their mother have tried to preach at me of eminem but it's never appealed to me, and believe me, I've tried on a few occasions. Sadly I'm just not part of the majority.

I liked him up until the Eminem show. All he does now is bitch and bitch and bitch about his personal life, I don't want to hear that shit when I listen to music.... Also, I'm Not Afraid is one of the most generic songs ever.

Please........the guy has lyrical talent and a gift for synchopation but the constant whining and self loathing trailer trash pussy whipped stories makes him come off like a sorry bitch

His last two albums really just played to level of his competition, which was good by any stretch. Lemme put it this way, if he came out with his last album first, it surely would've been his only album. With that being said, lemme end on this...

Rappers these days need to understand that they should be thankful for the men that murdered Notorious BIG. Most of them owe their entire career to them.

Spleen

Banned?
Marshal Mathers is easily my favourite rap album of all time, putting in firmly in my top 10 of any genre.

I don't think he's quite as good now, but I still like him.
