Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I've been WoW free for 5+ years my friends.

So regarding Skyrim ... should I buy it? :dunno:
I've never got it anything similar before and I'm wondering the same thing?

Not being a big RPG player, and only playing them time to time, I could say this may be the best one I've played. For the two previous posters, I would say rent the game at first, and if you like it, then buy it. It is def worth the buy. I have seen it played on three other consoles other than mine, and no matter how many times I see the same things over and over, its still a really sweet game.

I've brought skyrim, but only played it once so far, I cant get my sorry soul of omegle and looking for drivers for my computer is distracting me.

Ok I've never played a game like this before but with all the hype I think I might get it for my PS3. Is it something a n00b like me can enjoy?

Yes xpEve its very noob friendly. Because the controls are simple and you can play the game at your own pace, you are allowed to explore where you wish, and there are "tips" that will help you play your own game, to your own style, and finish quests in your own time. I play a female Dark Elf, who stealths a lot and uses magick, and then some armour and a two handed weapon just in case things get messy. I like the game, and to be honest its the only reason I held onto my xbox for so long, and it is worth it.

I just got off playing a couple of hours, and finished a quest for some people in the first town your supposed to visit. So I enjoyed it, I thought the level was well balanced, and fun, I got to use the skills I wanted, and got back safetly and only died once against the "end boss".

It has a few things as a noob you have to look out for, like making sure you dont fall off cliffs, using a torch to shine some light when enemies arent around, making sure you carry things to sell, but not too much that you cant run anymore. But if you are new then just save a little more often, and if you cant think of what you want to do, just do what feels comfortable and spend your perks when your ready.

Its a fun game, and immersive!

I'm still waiting for my copy, ordered it from a UK based webshop. The postal service in the UK is slow as hell specially if they have to deliver to other countries such as the Netherlands

I love the talent trees. Its an EYEGASM.

It´s very pretty and probably brilliant for a console... however I've learned to hate it on the pc, user friendly and intuitive it aint for pc users.

And the hole mix of having to use the wasd keys for navigating the menu´s except for some parts where you have to use the mouse to confirm... for crying out loud, make up your mind, either only mouse, only keyboard or, preferebly, the option to use both mouse and keyboard to navigate, not some half assed middle version where you have to use the mouse in some places but cant use it in others.... aaarrrgh....

Which shop? Play.com works best for me, always fast delivery and HMV isn't bad either

I ordered it from Zavvi.com. Have used play.com a lot but never ever for any orders I want fast because it is not rare it takes them like 3 weeks to deliver something. Perhaps it goes faster for orders within the UK but definitely not for orders outside UK.

Yeah I forget to mention Zaavi as they are also pretty quick and often have the best prices, I just ordered mine from Gamestation for £49.99 as it had the Strategy Guide with it free and that's around £17.99 alone

This game is awesome. The only problem is that real life keeps preventing me from being able to play it when I want to.
Real life can often get in the way

I got my copy Friday but haven't played it yet. I heard there were some bugs so I decided to wait a little before starting. I have off all next week so I'll probably do a multi-day marathon.

So...I hear there's some sexual content in this one. Anyone have some info?

I got killed around three times in my last two hours. Not as eventful as yesterday but I found some cool spots to continue dungeoneering. I got killed by two bears, by some mad wasp elemental, and by exploring a dungeon that had necromancers in probably too high for my level atm. One really nice place I found, is a cabin where I sneaked in and hid, but I was eventually found so I got my armour on (impressively quickly for a fantasy game) and killed the woman. There is a secret to this cabin so if anybody needs a place to explore then send me a PM on freeones and Ill tell you where you can find it.
