Prima Guides - Prima Official Guide

I'll buy a game guide for two reasons.

1/ The game works better with a guide
2/ The guide is cheap !

I won't be buying a guide in this case, not until much later on and I get stuck (hopefully I wont)

Yeah, I thought to myself, "This game is gonna be huge, a guide might be nice". Then I saw it was another 30$ and thought, "There will be plenty of help online after the game's out, fuck it."

Apparently it is already been sold in shops as of yesterday in The Netherlands :surprise:
If I had known I would not have placed an order for a copy at some webshop yesterday evening

Shops usually get the game a day or two before the actual release date.

Yes but then they are not allowed to sell the game yet. In this case dutch shops are selling the game 4 days before the release date and apparently Bethesda isn't happy about it but what can they do :dunno:

Played a couple of hours so far, its cool.
Unlocked the first dragon shout that they have shown in demos but I can't use it yet, no dragon souls.
Looks like a huge place to explore.

The save file grows in size as you progress through the game. I know they have had others that do this, but I've never played one before. Is it ever something to be worried about?

I almost went to buy it at midnight but decided to wait for my copy to come in the mail. Shouldn't be a problem with todays size harddrives.

Can't wait for mine.

I played one of the older games in the series but the whole "dragon shouts" looks silly.

Is there any continuity to these games or are they like the Final Fantasy games where they aren't really related?
?

I started playing as soon as it unlocked on Steam (about 3 hours ago) So far its pretty damn cool, and I'm already starting to resent my wife because I have to go to bed and then spend the day with her and I think I'd rather be playing Skyrim. This is not a good sign, I'm already addicted...

I have to ashamedly admit I bought Morrowind (Special Edt) but never played it, it's still sealed somewhere, I either didn't have time plus I was quickly moving home etc. Who's gonna buy the Special Edition of Skyrim?

I got some other package where you get that burlap-like map, steelbook case, notebook and 4 art cards for about $10 extra.

I would if I had the cash, I'm satisfied with the normal edition. Plus it costs 1 600 SEK, which is a friggin fortune.

Arrived, it has.

I'm ready for it to utterly consume my weekend. Unfortunately, work beckons first. =(

Too Damn expensive!

Out of desperation over a niggling little problem that my GP's (local Dr's) had failed to diagnose I went to see a Dr privately yesterday, after a 20 min 'chat' he told me to stick to the NHS (state health service) and that his fee for the visit was £200! I could've bought the limited edition with £70 to spare, oh the humanity!
