Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
You know I am getting allot of ungrateful vibes in this thread, lets not forget these girls are providing us with pleasure! :dunno:

They make us happy when were not, they are doing that stuff too satisfy us, forget about the money they make! thats there job, but they don't have to that job, do they? and who watches porn the most? correct answer is US! US horndog guys who are horny and can't get none! so whats the next best thing? :nanner:

I say if you can't respect the girls for that, then maybe you don't deserve the pleasure they provide when you call upon them to relieve the preasure in your testicles?:D

yeah, it really shows a high level of self esteem to get slapped around and spit in your face and jizzed in your eye.

Yeah, it is interesting that some people on this thread seem to think that's an indication of high self esteem  Of the several women I've known in the business I can only think of one that didn't have major self-esteem issues.

Beyond that I agree with a lot of what D-rock posted.

I really respect all those porngirls, I mean they give us all the stuff we wanna see, they're gorgeous, and I don't see them as just another "slut" or just another "hooker" cuz I guess bein' a pornstar isn't always that easy like most people think ....

If I had a daughter I wouldn't have no problem with her bein' a pornstar cuz I really respect those girls and they gave me (and still give LOL) mad pleasure and I don't see what the problem is with girls bein' "slutty" ....

And OFCOURSE they do it for the money, what's wrong with that? Should they do a lesser paid job while they can do something they like and pays well?!

Well I am glad the general consensus is that people have some respect for them even if its just generic respect. At least most dont look down on them I think thats what matters most

Take a look at how many thread titles/posts use the word(s) slut/bitches/whore and you'll realize not only how little respect the majority of posters here have for porn stars, but also that the majority of posters here have some serious issues with misogyny.

That being said, the industry isn't all sunshine and cupcakes, in fact the problem is that the "big" companies in the industry seem to feel there is a need to have a constant stream of fresh faces ie;s new girls, in the industry, with the result that the shelf life of a women in the industry is averaging about 6 months. Think about it: people like Jenna Jameson, Jesse Jane, Christy Canyon are the glaring exceptions. It's even tougher with the Internet sites and their need for new content almost every day.

As for drugs, the vid companies don't do anything to steer the talent away from using drugs, and some actively encourage it with drugs being present on-set.

I think a lot of people go after a porn career because they enjoy it more then it pays well. From what I here it doesnt pay that well anyway for most

But I understand your opinion and respect it

I completely agree, and I have overwhelming respect for those pornstars who had the balls to rise above social stigmas and strain family relations and friendships in order to pursue a career that they love. As I respect anyone who can honestly say "I love my job!"

I don't think it's about disrespect. It's about the reality of what porn actually is, the real reasons people get into porn, what they have to do to stay in it and reasons many can't escape it.:yinyang:

I think I'm with you on this, its hard to respect those who have fallen into porn seemingly against their will. Its like any other job in that the environment is not fit for everybody, and the comfort of 'the familiar' can be ensnaring.

I respect everyone, unless they do something to deserve other.

I would rather my chidren be a porn star than a police officer, army, salesmen, lazy "artist", or any other of questionable morality.

I don't know about Police or Army, but there sure are a plethora of disgraceful professions, and porn is not one of them, in my eyes.

I hadn't found your thread when I started mine:

Otherwise I would have made my points here instead. As you can understand I totally agree with you that they are worth respect. :glugglug: I appreciate you started this thread!

Just as with people anywhere - who work doing anything - my respect depends on the individual. I probably wouldn't respect Max Hardcore (despite his efforts to sound like he's doing something grandiose and profound to make America a better place), but I may well respect individual porn producers, directors, actors/actresses. It just depends. I try to start out with a certain level of default respect for anyone, but the more I get to know anyone, that is subject to change - to increase or (more often) decrease...

No,I do not 'respect' pornstars or people in the industry.
I admire them, but I do not respect them.
I respect marines, soldiers, firemen etc. I hold those people in high regards.
Pornstars are like my favorite celebrities/moviestars.
I admire their work and achievements. But I do not respect them or the industry.

I'm not really in the porn business, but...being a camgirl I am in the adult entertainment industry. I guess its just same shit, different pile.

I don't expect or demand any special kind of respect. However, I don't expect or demand any level of disrespect either. Yes I get naked for a living. Yes I get to be sexual for a paycheck. So does Britney Spears. Anyone who looks down on pornstars yet still invests time and money into the industry are hypocrites. You can't look down on people who eat meat, yet occasionally enjoy a slice of bacon. Get my drift?

And honestly, if my daughter wanted to grow up and get into camming, I'd say "good for you" because its a fun job, that can pay well, and there shouldn't be any level of disrespect for anyone who gets involved in something they enjoy. Hockey players get to do what they enjoy, so do doctors, firefighters, actors and musicians. Everyone does a job with some part of their being...mine just happens to use my body in a physical way. Models are employed for the same reason: their body. Doctors are used for their minds. Athletes are used for their strength.

So who cares?! lol.

I respect them... The ones I met are really nice... That is there job... I think that is you get to know them they are different and honest... Plus they look deeper into your personality than looks.... Some are even very smart....

I guess I respect the porn stars who stick to sex, but I think the other ones (like the ones who do bathroom stuff) are a bit weird. I can't look down on them, though, because nobody would pay to watch me f*ck.

I have to agree, I respect people no matter what their profession is, unless they do something to take my respect away, ie: Drink pee, eat shit, get fucked by an animal, to me, that is NOT respectable in any way shape or form. :)

They have chosen their way to be famous even if it is in a non traditional way, they are afterall human beings with a family and feelings. Some of them had MBAs and were/are above college graded people and also intelligent, so yes respect is earned.

Any 'disrespect' pales into comparison to that of the Financial industry.

Banned?
As much as I respect anyone else doing a job. They don't deserve any more or any less than everyone else.
