My point with bringing up the cost of birthing a child in the US...is that people say adoption is too expensive, when birthing a child is just as expensive if not MORE expensive. Its an excuse and its sad. Adoption can be very affordable, especially if you go to support groups or organizations built to help support you, especially if you adopt domestically vs. internationally. But anyways, that was my point in saying that having a child the old fashioned way in the US is expensive....it was to argue the people who say adoption is too expensive to do.
