Please, tell me what was so Awful about the spice girls?. Have you even heard their music. They sold more than 23 million albums worldwide.

Do anyone remeber that old chris rock comment at the 97 VMA about them. You can't find one person that will admit that they like the spice girls, it's like using heroine , you know you doing it , but you just won't admit.

I was never afraid to admit that i liked the spice girls. Thyre the sole reason why i like british and euro women's.

If you require proof of my theory, how many of the Spice Girls have gone on to have major success as individual singers?

I've seen at least two television programs over here where a person in Britain buys a car that has been created by welding two cars together. The term they use for the car is a "cut and shut". One of them was crashed at a somewhat slow speed and completely came apart. Is this kind of scam common?

Er, I don't really recall that it was seriosly ever presented as anything more than something for kids to dance to and annoy their elders. If you had been into it ,it would have been ruined for the kids. I'm guessing you feel pretty much the same way about Hanna Montanna or the Jonas Brothers as you do the Spice Girls. I'm sorry to tell you but there is another batch of kiddie pop stars crawling out the cradle to replace those guys as we speak.

I'm sorry to tell you but there is another batch of kiddie pop stars crawling out the cradle to replace those guys as we speak.

As long as they all look like 'girls aloud' (ie nice asses and 'knockers' as you put it) then I won't mind too much.

'girl power' was nothing more than a pathetic marketing slogan designed to give a bit of an edge to a band (or maybe it should be brand) which would stick its name on anything if it would make a fast buck. i remember when all the spice girls hype was first starting and i went into a record store and had a look at one of the albums out of idle curiosity. the damn thing actually had a booklet in it with all the spice girls products you could buy. i'd never seen anything like it from a new band that hadn't even had a hit. the cynical nature of their ruthless money making was shown a year or so back when their greatest hits came out and the original albums were withdrawn so anyone interested would have no option but to buy the new album.
