Yes. In fact there's a public service whereby young men regard it as their public duty when riding public transport to play hip hop and other brands of fucking awful non-music on their mobile phones at speaker volume so as to SHAREinflictSHARE it with their fellow passengers.
These young men are so dedicated to communal non-music that they will frequently refuse to turn off their awful non-music and insult you should you request that they turn it off.
Since these young men are rarely employed/employable they often ride public transport all day on taxpayers money doing this.

If the Aussies call you all Poms or Pommes, as in Prisoners of Mother Endland or what the hell ever strangeness, that what all do you playfully tease Aussies with while ya'll are on your little holidays in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane or whatever? I've heard you call some "convict scum" or the like online, but only during and most heated of all immature YouTube name-calling battles before, though.

I can't really think I've ever met an unpleasant Aussie :surprise: as for teasing you - I've always thought that deep down we only really tease the people we like, the Scots, Welsh, Irish etc even the French :why:!
I'm not sure if it is anymore. There's always the traditional boxing day sales that attract a lot of people but since online shopping came along the bargains don't seem that great. Also the past 2 yaers during the recession shops have lowered their prices BEFORE xmas so the run up to xmas can also get really busy. I think the days of people spending crazily on boxing day and in the following sales are coming to an end as peoples financial worries start piling up
