I would say lol Pitt......but it still hurts too much! Total collapse in the 4th quarter to blow a 21 point lead. Ugh!!!!!!

Now, regarding the conferences, it's now being reported that Baylor & Iowa State have reached out to The Big East concerning joining in the likely event that The Big-12 fully collapses.

nd is really not a bad team. If they hadn't turned the ball over like they were allergic to it..they would be 2-0.

As most of you know i'm not one for predictions but sparty should be on upset alert.

qft.

Auburn's luck finally ran out today... wow, their defense is turrible ($1 to Charles Barkley).

Sorry, BI. Bauserman sucks. 'Course, Notre Damn beat my team, so...tip the glasses.

4 Super Conferences -- 28 teams each and divided by simple geography to keep travel costs down. WEST, MIDWEST, SOUTH, EAST

There you go.

Each Super Conference bids out the television rights to their games to any network that wants to broadcast them. Texas can be excluded from TV bidding money/converage if they want to keep the Longhorn Network idea going....

some interesting and some predictable results today

Notre Dame showed what couldve been if they had not turned it over so much
Auburns finally played with more fire than they could handle
Ohio State, first game against a worthy opponent looks quite bad
the blowouts were predictable, not too many competitive games this week

Wouldnt be surprised if Auburn changed D-cor's at the end of the season. They were a 3 win team if not for Nick Fairleigh last season, and only Utah State covering an onside kick poorly has saved them from being 1-2 this year

PS...'Cuse lost big against SC today but mark it down...they will be a very good team this season.

I was shocked to see how fast and physical they are.

Lookout Big East.

You can bet that Bama is so happy that South Carolina isn't on their regular season schedule this year because the Gamecocks would have destroyed Bama for the second year in a row.

It would be a great game, Lattimore is a stud, but Garcia isn't the greatest and Bama's defense is pretty darn good. I don't know about "destroy", after all Navy gave USCe all they could handle... I wish they did play, it would be a great game. I'm looking forward to Bama-LSU!

Updated: USA Today poll and AP poll :computer:

*compliments from my post on another board*

Positive twists from the Buckeye loss to Miami:

--Jordan Hall is a pretty good running back.
--Joe Bauserman ain't Joe Namath. He ain't even Joe Germaine. But at least they have Braxton Miller....
--Luke Fickell does a really good "stunned that we're getting our asses munched" John Cooper impersonation.
--Even though they lost this game, the Bucks DID beat Colorado in that stadium back in 1798.
--Jake Stoneburner has a protective force field composed of defensive backs and passes thrown over his head.
--Ohio State's second string is almost as good as Miami's third string.

Yeah well how'd you like that serious ass-kicking from a low-life confederate-state school like the U? Too bad we're not good enough to be in your obviously-superior conference, right? I only wish we could play your sorry Buckeye asses again tomorrow and do it all again it felt so good.

Some (but not nearly enough) retribution for the bullshit national title you guys blatantly stole from us (with the zebras' assistance) back in 2003. Instant kharma's gonna get you....and already has. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:D:D:D
