Congrats to Ghana, they played a good game. I'm so disappointed but at the same time so proud. We showed the world that we can play this game and that we aren't pushovers. The players should walk out with their heads held high.

Bad luck USA - throw some money at some retired Dutch and set up a football academy or two. Maybe you could have an Ajax revolution at DC United? Who knows? It's not impossible - the Dutch were pretty shit until the 70s and they changed it in a generation with the invention of total football.
Just don't make the mistake of buying old players to play in the MLS and hoping that that will make American players better. They pick up this trade when they're kids.

Eh, just goes to show you, we're still in the top 16 in the world, and it's the world's game. So, we have four sports that take precedent above soccer and we still are playing with the best nations on earth and the general care about the sport in the States in minor.

Ghana was physically stronger. Gyan's goal was simply great. Kingson played his best match of the tournament. The better team has won. But they will be easy prey for Uruguay. Suarez alone can do serious damage to Ghana's defence.
