Oh....OK. Just your little secret then huh? :dunno:

Why the intrigue? Why not tell us what you know?

:1orglaugh:1orglaughThat's funny Jag...

What would you say if I told you I know a guy? Besides...wouldn't it just be better when you find out for sure tomorrow or whatever? You Might even be able to find rumors of it yourself by now.....

Yeah sure whatever 'Mega.

Well, I heard about it this morning and if it comes to fruition...

But frankly Jag...if I laid on you that I heard from someone I know personally that I really, really, really, really trust on this stuff...what would you say???

:sleep:Anyway right? I know I probably would. So, give it some time to see if I'm (or the source I quote is) right.

I mean, I didn't get this from CNN or ESPN....I got this from someone who would most likely know and that I trust...me telling you this would be of no value to you as you would be ho-hum until it proved to be true.

--Yeah, Stanford won. But is the Cardinal really a top 5 team?

That's a good point. Who the hell have Stanford beaten?? USC, Arizona, Notre Dame. People wanna say they deserve to be 3rd ahead of TCU. But are those 3 wins really all that much better than Baylor, Oregon State, Utah?? Not to mention San Diego State and Air Force.

Is it too early to say FSU's return to glory:dunno:9-3 and we got VA.Tech in the ACC Champion game:clap:

It's a start. They easily coulda been 11-1. But they also coulda been 7-5. I think they key is recruting those great athletes on defense. The same athletes that have been going to Gainesville and Coral Gables. I think this season will be judged on that title game against Va Tech. If they win, it'll be perceived as the start of something special. If they lose? Same ole shit.

Good games yesterday, I couldn't tell whether FSU is getting back on track, or if UF is just that crappy this year. :dunno:

Little bit of the former, more so of the latter.

Boise, Boise...Boise. Stupid Nevada just fooked the entire conference out of millions.

Who cares?? All the good WAC programs are leaving for the Mountain West. The WAC is gonna be terrible, Sun Belt-style. Idaho and Lousiana Tech will be the best the conference has to offer. Ugh.

If it's any consolation, the SPARTANS will end up in the "Fuck Whatja Say?" Bowl. If they win, the polesters will be mercifull and give them a Top 10 rating.

Somehow, Arkansas is ranked ahead of the Spartans in the BCS. It's off to the Capital One Bowl for State, get your flight for Orlando, FL booked.

Now for my Top 10......

1 - Auburn
2 - Oregon
3 - TCU
4 - Wisconsin
5 - Ohio State
6 - Stanford
7 - Michigan State
8 - Arkansas
9 - Oklahoma
10 - Boise State

Wow, you have A&M over OU. I mean, sure, A&M beat OU head to head, but does that really mean they're a better team?

Being as it only happened 3 weeks ago, and it was a pretty decisive win (albeit at A&M), I think for now, coupled with A&M's win over Nebraska, they deserve to be ranked higher. But if OU beats Nebraska (which A&M already did, albeit narrowly, and at A&M) I'd consider jumping OU over A&M.

Considering how crappy Jerrod Johnson was against Oklahoma State and Arkansas, I'd say if had they had Tannehill at QB all year, A&M would be 11-1 right now. I think they are the best team in the Big XII, but I personally can't rank them as such cuz I can't ignore that 3 game losing streak.

Yep, I agree. They've really come into their own under Tannehill.

wow, going to the game truly added insult to injury, didn't it? How often does it rain down there, TR? :D

Aye, the luck of The Irish prevails again ;)

Yeah sure whatever 'Mega.

May not happen just yet Jag....This just in....

Jon Gruden affirms ESPN committment

ESPN football analyst Jon Gruden said Sunday night that he isn't leaving ESPN.

"I am committed to Monday Night Football and to ESPN," Gruden said in a statement. "I enjoy working with Mike, Jaws and our entire crew and am just trying to get better at this job."

Earlier Sunday, the South Florida Sun Sentinel, citing a University of Miami source, said Gruden initiated talks for the Hurricanes' open coaching position.

Miami fired Randy Shannon on Saturday night, hours after Miami lost to South Florida in its regular-season finale. The Hurricanes fell to 7-5, still have yet to play for an Atlantic Coast Conference title and lured only 26,369 fans -- many of them rooting for the visitors -- to Sun Life Stadium on Saturday, the smallest home crowd since Larry Coker's last home game in 2006.

I'm still stunned over Bama blowing a 24 point lead on Friday...

That's why I said give Cam Newton the Heisman Trophy now. I believe I heard that no team has ever come back to beat UA that many points down.

Good games yesterday, I couldn't tell whether FSU is getting back on track, or if UF is just that crappy this year. :dunno:

The entire Thanksgiving holiday had some great football games! I think it will be good for college football if Florida State returns to prominence again. I always like Bobby Bowden and I think Jimbo Fisher has been doing a very good job so far and is a good fit there.

Decisive win? I thought the story of the game was OU leaving points on the field. I'll give A&M credit for stopping OU at the goal line 3 times. But OU was missing field goals, they gave up a kick return for a TD, had a bad snap that went into the end zone for a safety, and Hanna dropped a wide open TD. If this game is played again I doubt A&M gets those same breaks.

To me, the only team that beat OU this year was.... OU.

Don't get me wrong, I think A&M is a great team. It's obvious the change at QB has been the deference. Last year with Johnson OU was beating them 65-10. And yes, holding Nebraska to only 6 points. This team is going to have a great future.

Re: Report: TCU on Big East's radar

A done deal. Way to fuck the MWC right up the pooper. I mean, why wouldn't these sissies just join the Big XII if they wanted to compete for BCS bowls without the need to go undefeated every year???

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101129/ap_on_sp_co_ne/fbc_tcu_big_east

The Big 12 didn't ask them, that's why. The Big 12 already has the Dallas market locked up so TCU doesn't bring anything to the table from a TV revenue standpoint. I do agree that it makes no geographical sense whatsoever but I don't blame them for wanting to get into a BCS conference if they can. I'm no Frog fan either so....:dunno:

If the Big 12 ever expands back to a 12-team divisional format, they'll have their eye set on getting the Denver market back so CSU or Air Force would make more sense than TCU. They could also make a play for BYU to get the SLC market but I don't see any of these additions happening anyway. The Big 12 will likely remain a 10 team conference (they would change their name to the "Big 10" but someone else already has that name locked up). :1orglaugh

It would be great if Auburn or Oregon loses next weekend. I would like to see an an underdog school (TCU) at the championship game.
