Oooh. I like it. This Boilermaker is always up for a free meal. You're on!
:elaugh:
The electronic shake has been made. I'll meet you in...Valpo? Don Quixotes?

If I have an address, I'm pretty sure my Garmin can find it.
Things already look grim for the Irish. It's clearly your fault.
Well, evidently Purdue doesn't plan on winning anything today. The basketball team shot 16% and scored 14 points in the first half and currently trails Richmond by 11 with 8 minutes to go. Boilers have played like absolute dog shit all night long.
I haven't even checked the Irish score because if I get up to get the remote I'm likely to dropkick the television in a fit of rage. Best to stay seated...
Roy Munson is permanently off the hook. From now on, the term is Brotzmaned.
I hope Auburn loses to the 'Cocks....just to fuck things up more than they already are. Even though "deserve" has nothing to do with it, TCU deserves a shot at the title.
ABC and ESPN are indeed reporting Shannon has been fired. :2 cents:Randy Shannon might be on his last legs. Losing to S. Fla at home is not defensible. Esp. coming from ahead to choke.

Report: Miami fires Randy Shannon
CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- A person familiar with the decision tells The Associated Press that Miami fired coach Randy Shannon on Saturday, hours after the Hurricanes finished a 7-5 regular season.
I do not see how a pac 10 team can compete with an SEC team
OK, this is just a thought I had. If either Auburn or Oregon somehow gets tripped up next week, who doesn't think that Wisconsin miraculously jumps over TCU to maintain the status quo. Hey, I'm a Big Ten guy and I do think that if any one loss team deserves consideration right now it is the Badgers. The NCAA will do anything it can to avoid any playoff talk gaining momentum. Like I said, just a thought.
I've actually gave that some thought. What might actually hurt them though is that many voters will have hard a time picking between them and Ohio State (and even Stanford), which could cause two things to happen: They hurt each others standing in the polls by taking votes from each other (remember, the BCS looks at votes, not just rank, of the human polls) and some voters, unwilling or unable to decipher between the teams, putting TCU at 2 just to 'take the easy way out'.
But I believe TCU would deserve it regardless.
--Congrats to Mallett's Marzipans for a helluva win over LSUsed. Petrino has coached a good season, and look for Ark in the post season.
--The real loser in Boise State's loss isn't Boise...it's TCU. Because whoever they play in the post season is REALLY gonna kill 'em!:horse:
--Shannon is out at the U. I'm surprised they didn't can him for losing to Ohio State.
--Yeah, Stanford won. But is the Cardinal really a top 5 team? Or are the BCSers just raising Harbaugh's price tag...got enough, Michigan AD Brandon???:2 cents:
--I give Landry Jones and the Boomers all the credit in the world. Other than a couple of disappointing losses, they had a perfect season...haha. Anyway, Jones threw some picks, but also threw for 468 yards against the 'Boys. The Sooners have been in a "prove themselves" mode all season. Will this put them into the BCS top ten?:dunno:
Not that whipping Washington, UCLA or Oregon St is any great feat. But Stanford is the only team on their schedules to shut them out. Thow Cal in there who for all intents and purposes was shut out until Stanford put their 2nd and 3rd string in at garbage time and they've pounded 4 conferences opponents by a combined 160+ -14.![]()
I like Stanford and Luck. My point is that Michigan is gonna come courtin'. :lovecoupl
