Well, evidently Purdue doesn't plan on winning anything today. The basketball team shot 16% and scored 14 points in the first half and currently trails Richmond by 11 with 8 minutes to go. Boilers have played like absolute dog shit all night long.

I haven't even checked the Irish score because if I get up to get the remote I'm likely to dropkick the television in a fit of rage. Best to stay seated...

really? off the top of my head I seem to recall the Pac 10 doing pretty well against the SEC the last decade. Lowly UCLA swept Tennessee. USC crushed both Arkansas and I think Auburn?

*ok I checked and the Pac 10 is 11 - 9 vs the SEC in the last 12 years.

Congratulations to Michigan State, 2010 Big Ten (co) Champions! What a season, I had my doubts for a while, but they proved me wrong. They put a smile on my face in a season in which was largely a waste for my Gators. Because of the politics of the BCS, they in all likelihood will play in the ole Citrus Bowl against Arkansas. I just hope Ohio State doesn't get the Rose Bowl bid.

I wonder which names will pop up for the Miami job. I got a few -- Mark Stoops, Steve Spurrier, Bobby Petrino, Kirby Smart.

What a terrible performance against the Noles. Congrats on making the ACC Championship, FSU. Hope you get run the fuck over by Virginia Tech. Why Jordan Reed isn't our starting QB, I don't know.

Georgia and Tennessee won to get bowl eligible and avoid losing regular seasons. Fuck me now.

OK, this is just a thought I had. If either Auburn or Oregon somehow gets tripped up next week, who doesn't think that Wisconsin miraculously jumps over TCU to maintain the status quo. Hey, I'm a Big Ten guy and I do think that if any one loss team deserves consideration right now it is the Badgers. The NCAA will do anything it can to avoid any playoff talk gaining momentum. Like I said, just a thought.

Oh I absolutely think that TCU should go if one of the two loses. All that I am saying is that the NCAA and BCS does not like anybody rocking the boat. We need a playoff. Now.

Not that whipping Washington, UCLA or Oregon St is any great feat. But Stanford is the only team on their schedules to shut them out. Thow Cal in there who for all intents and purposes was shut out until Stanford put their 2nd and 3rd string in at garbage time and they've pounded 4 conferences opponents by a combined 160+ -14.

I hope so....There's a large scale PR campaign underway ..has been for some time...(Since the Iowa loss) to get JH.

I can't really read DB on it...either he's a great poker player or he's convinced himself the smart thing to do is give RR 'more time'.

Hopefully JH will be the man for UM.
