SHould Tim Tebow play this weekend or not?

In my opinion--he should not play, even if the doctors clear him (which I suspect they will clear him anyway). I think it would be a massive PR fiasco if the Gators throw caution in the wind and play Tebow for nothing more than vainglory and he gets another concussion or a career ending concussion. Shouldn't Tebow's NFL prospects supercede this game or the NC this year? He's already won a Heisman and they've already won NCs...

Are you kidding? #4 LSU at home in Death Valley with 100,000 screaming drunk coon-asses hollering their collective Cajun asses off for their beloved purple and goldw while they do battle against the friggin' hated Gators from Gainesville??? He'll play for sure....

....Oh wait....your question was should he play. From what I read, NO....he shouldn't. Will he? I'd bet the farm on it. A slippery slope at best for Meyer since his style of play is wild abandon anyhow and I would imagine that Les Miles has told his defense that it wouldn't break his heart to see Tebow limping to the sidelines tomorrow.

Well here it is all the ridin' I been during with Ole Miss a real shot to beat Alabama They better not blow it and for Bama put up or shut up and would hope they sit Tebow for another game it won't hurt his back-up is pretty damn good this will give him some big game hype :hatsoff:

I think Ole Miss better play well. I can't remember a college player's stock dropping as fast as Jevan Snead's has this season....

Ole Miss/Bama is always a tough game, decided by 4 points or less the last 4 years. But I think Bama is going to throw the sink at Snead and he will choke. Bama 31 OM 20

I hope the Doctors don't clear Tebow,it would be for his own good.
Jevan Snead was overrated.

I think the media put to much pressure on Ole Miss I love the team I think they are great and can beat Alabama but they want a lot from this team keep an eye on the Left Tackle from Ole Misshe has to step it up he is from my old high school I'm expecting big things out of him but he has a way to go.Flordia State has a chance to make a big statement with everything going on all we need is a win

I agree, I remember after their loss to USCe earlier this year, after the game Snead said he was "relieved" that they wouldn't be in the Top 5... I don't think the high expectations were something Ole Miss handled very well. But as an underdog, they are dangerous... see the UF game last season.

And to be honest with you I did not see them winning that game at all ut they pulled it out just remember this game is in Oxford and Bama does struggle against Ole Miss for some reason or another it should be an exciting game and a must win for both teams and the reason I say a must win for Bama is the whole Utah game nope I have not forgot about it beat somebody

Too much pressure? It’s division 1 football! It’s the SEC! Go play intramurals, brother! Go play intramurals.

I never understood the “I’m a man” part of the rant. I suppose it’s like when Blutarsky asked, “Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?” When someone is on a roll, you just let them go.

I'm pretty sure the "I'm a Man!" part was in response to the idea of a journalist writing a column about an 18-21 yr old "kid" and calling that "kid" a coward. Wasn't that the gist of the article?

I don't believe coaches should refer to their players as "kids" because this ain't pop warner and orange slices. The scholarship athletes at Chokie State are MEN when they turn 18. I don't think most College Football coaches realize the image they create about their team --"we're a team of kids--YAY!!" versus "Only young men play ball at X University.."

Having rambled, I will say it was a cheapshot, bullshit column by that journalist to actually call a college player a coward publicly. College athletes are NOT PROFESSIONALS...(even if they might as well be).

So how do you guys like the early games some good ones showing Georgia-Tennessee,Arkansas-Auburn I thought the Michigan State-Illinois game was going to be a good one but looks more like a blowout in the making:dunno:

Wow....Tennessee looks to be back after taking out UGA! And I guess you can wave bye-bye to Auburn's undefeated season. Hogs looked tough today.

Houston goes into Starkville and takes out an SEC team. Too bad they went to sleep last week against fucking UTEP.

Texas A & M in a dogfight with OSU.....still watching it 36-31 OSU late.

Main course tonight with Florida-LSU!!! A little Cajun fried Gator tail on the menu down there in Baton Rouge??? We'll see....should be great.
