Wow...what a horrible display of sportsmanship by Lagarrette Blount (aka the Pregame Bigmouth). It looks like he is nothing but an overhyped miniArtest? Did you guys see him lose control at the end of the game? It looked like he was going to attack the stadium! He punched a Bronco player after the game...wow!

Suffice it to say that if Oregon has any dignity in their program and University they will kick him off the team. That was disgraceful conduct.

But, it begs a bigger question. Is there too much trash-talking and pre-game hype in College and Pro Sports?

That white lineman got what he deserved if you ask me but Blount was pissed. Pretty dis-graceful. Hate to see athletes get into with the fans like that. It was close to a fan/player brawl. That shit I dont like keep it between the players if there has to be any fights. or punches thrown. but hey this is just thursday.. The Bronco player made a poor decision in taunting Blount, but if you can't walk the walk, than don't talk the talk...

This Blount asshole was talking trash all summer about Boise St, then on the field he had something like 7 rushes for -5 yards. When that was pointed out to him he lost it and throws a sucker punch like a pussy. He is an out of control disgrace to the young men who play college football.

Also, that OU team was still rebuilding after we lost 11 players to the NFL(22 total). It was also the same year we kicked our QB off the team and we also got stomped by Texas that year too. It took a Texas collapse(I think they lost 2 straight games or something) to even put us in that game.

I was so upset why people kept saying it was "David vs Galiath", because it really wasn't. That was totally different OU team, compared to the team we have now.

Well, maybe you need the dots connected a little. The same Duck team ran rampage over Okie State in the previous game (on the road) but got stuffed by a Bronco team (again on the road). Same offensive players, more practice time....maybe Boise's Defense is stonger than a top tier Big 12 team's defense...can you remember all the points scored in Big12 conference games...

Judging by this post it's hard not to see you as an ignorant person who quickly and proudly falls back on crutches of stereotypes. Are you qualified to determine that a black guy wouldn't get knocked down and wouldn't "look like a fag" doing so? Do you look like a God when someone sucker punches you? But are they young men? College coaches routinely call their players "kids" in Press Conferences. Maybe these players are becoming conditioned into spoiled little brats because of being treated like "kids" and also because of the 24/7 news cycle which glorifies outrageous conduct at the expense of sportsmanship.

College coaches need to start calling their players as MEN, not Kids. Only Men play for USC, Michigan, Boise State:thefinger, and Ohio State, etc. I know as a college alumnus, I don't want my college playing "kids." I want athletes being treated like Adult Men, because THEY ARE.

Well see if College Sports deteriorates into WWE bullshit pre-game and postgame.

LeGarrette Blount should be kicked off the team. He's a Senior player for crissake. There's no point in "finding a teaching moment" here. He needs to be sent out to the harsh, cruel world and "grow up" fast. If he's a talented player who finds maturity, then there's always the CFL out there for him. Clearly, the privileges of being starting athlete at the Univ of Oregon were not that impressive to him afterall...
