seriously, though, with playoffs - do you think it would be fair to the STUDENTS to run playoffs at the end of the season? while i'm sure i'll get flamed for this, let's all remember, these people are in college. they do need some time to get educated.
i'm not saying playoffs are not the answer. i just don't know what it would look like or how it would be accomplished.

The FCS or NCAA 1-AA has them every year They start them around the 9th or 10th game it seems to work for them I would love to see the best of the best go at it.or a Bosie type team beat a team like Oklahoma or Alabama
(cough) boise gave up 34 points to fresno st.......taking nothing away from fresno (good running back...well coached...but small.......as far as okl goes....they done beat them straight up before (great game)..but as a bama fan...im here to tell you they give up 34 points to alabama...your gunna have a bad time!...for all them that thinks just because bama had a terrible day they are done....wait till they come out the gates in 2 weeks:glugglug:

Hey I would not said any thing if this was a one bad game remember your Tide struggled to out up points anainst Ole Miss hell I'm an Ole Miss fan I know three stright possessions they settle for feild goals and Ole Miss is over rated hell that hurt me to say but i will face the facts the game could have been a lot worse you know that just as well I do.I just saying LSU is not the best but it is going to take a lot more than 12 points and by the way that was just an example.We need a playoff

football is not about who struggles...its about who wins....i guess florida didnt struggle against ark....the guys in stripes is the only reason florida is still undefeated........bad calls won the game for florida....now thats a struggle when the refs calls is the only reason you won....by the way...we beat that team florida strggled against 35 7.......and i dont know if its gunna take more than 12 to beat lsu or not..our defence has allowed 1 td the last 3 games.......

I know this who said anything about struggle all I said was Bama better find a way to visit the inzone so they beat Arkansas 35-7 and Flordia struggled big deal Hell Bama defense is great it the offense that is kind of shaky a good team will take advantage of that :nono:
To use your own logic against you, Florida clearly out played Tennessee when they played them. Florida out gained them in yards, and could have run up the score if it wasn't for fumbles.
Tennessee out gained Alabama in yards 341 to 256, and Bama relied on 3 blocked or missed field goals by Tennessee.
Also, Bama struggled against Kentucky, when Florida schooled them(even accused of trying to run up the score).
What do you have to say about that?

True. I would like to point out Bama just played 5 SEC games in a row without a week off and won them all... I read today that hadn't been done since the Florida National Championship team in the 90s. Just sayin'... and this bye week couldn't come at a better time for the Tide.
Going to be a very interesting stretch run for a bunch of teams. :thumbsup:
